Personal statement: UCAS’ning 3 savoliga namuna va reja

UCAS personal statement 2026-yildan 3 savol, 4000 belgi: har savolga namuna javob, o‘zbekcha tahlil, belgi taqsimoti, kuchsiz gaplarni tuzatish va mashq.

Noutbukda onlayn ariza formasini to‘ldirayotgan qiz: UCAS personal statement

Britaniya bakalavriatiga UCAS orqali ariza berishda personal statement endi bitta erkin matn emas, uchta savolga javob. Bu format 2026-yil qabulidan boshlab ishlaydi: jami 4 000 belgi (bo‘shliqlar bilan), har bir javob kamida 350 belgi. Siz bitta statement yozasiz va u tanlagan barcha kurslaringizga (ko‘pi bilan 5 ta) boradi, shuning uchun u bitta fan yo‘nalishiga qaratilishi kerak.

Quyida uchala savolga to‘liq namuna, har javobning o‘zbekcha tahlili, belgilarni qanday taqsimlash, kuchsiz gaplarni tuzatish va mashq bor. Raqamlar UCAS rasmiy sahifasidan olingan; ariza topshirishdan oldin u yerda yangilanish bor-yo‘qligini tekshiring.

Uchta savol va ular nimani so‘raydi

Savol (UCAS)Aslida nimani so‘raydiTavsiya etilgan hajm
1. Why do you want to study this course or subject?Fanga qiziqishingiz qayerdan kelgan va u qanchalik chuqur1 100–1 400 belgi
2. How have your qualifications and studies helped you to prepare for this course or subject?Maktab, litsey, olimpiada, onlayn kurslar sizni qanday tayyorladi1 100–1 400 belgi
3. What else have you done to prepare outside of education, and why are these experiences useful?Ko‘ngillilik, ish, loyihalar, o‘qish — va ulardan nimani o‘rgandingiz900–1 300 belgi

Uchinchi ustundagi raqamlar UCAS qoidasi emas, bizning tavsiyamiz. UCAS 4 000 belgini xohlaganingizcha taqsimlashga ruxsat beradi, faqat har javob 350 belgidan kam bo‘lmasin.

2027-yil qabuli muddatlari: Oxford, Cambridge va tibbiyot, stomatologiya, veterinariya kurslarining ko‘pchiligi uchun 2026-yil 15-oktabr, 18:00; qolgan kurslar uchun 2027-yil 13-yanvar, 18:00 (Britaniya vaqti). Xalqaro abituriyentlardan ko‘p universitetlar keyinroq ham ariza qabul qiladi, lekin buni har bir universitet sahifasidan tekshiring.

Namuna: Computer Science uchun uchta javob

Bekzod Umarov Toshkentdagi matematikaga ixtisoslashgan maktabning 11-sinfida o‘qiydi. Ism va tafsilotlar o‘ylab topilgan. Uchala javob birga taxminan 3 200 belgi: limitgacha yana 800 belgi qoladi, uni o‘z tafsilotlaringiz uchun ishlating.

1-savol: Why do you want to study this course or subject?

Two years ago, my aunt asked me to help with the small grocery shop she runs in our mahalla. She wrote every sale in a notebook and spent Sunday evenings adding up numbers. I built a simple Telegram bot that recorded sales and sent her a weekly summary. It had many bugs, and fixing them taught me more than the first version did. What surprised me most was not the code but the questions behind it: how should data be stored so that nothing is lost, and how can a program stay simple for someone who has never used a spreadsheet? I want to study Computer Science because I want to understand these questions properly, from algorithms and data structures to the design of systems that real people can use. Reading about how databases handle thousands of transactions at once showed me that my bot solved only the easiest part of the problem. I am especially interested in software for small businesses, which are a large part of the economy in Uzbekistan, and in how such tools can remain reliable when the internet connection is weak, as it often is outside the big cities. A degree in Computer Science would give me the theory behind the tools I have been using by trial and error.

2-savol: How have your qualifications and studies helped you to prepare for this course or subject?

Mathematics has always been my strongest subject, and at my specialised maths school I study it for eight hours a week. Topics such as combinatorics and proof by induction helped me understand why some algorithms are faster than others. In Year 10, I reached the regional stage of the national mathematics olympiad, where I learned to work on one problem for a long time without giving up. Physics taught me to build simple models and test them against results. Outside the school programme, I completed a free online introductory course in programming in Python and C, including weekly problem sets. Because English is my third language after Uzbek and Russian, I read programming documentation in English every day, which has improved both my technical vocabulary and my reading speed. Last year, I also wrote a short research project comparing two sorting algorithms on data from our school library catalogue. Measuring their speed on lists of different sizes, and then explaining why the results matched the theory only for large lists, was the first time I felt I was doing real computer science rather than just coding.

3-savol: What else have you done to prepare outside of education, and why are these experiences useful?

Since last autumn, I have volunteered at our district library, where I teach a free weekly coding club for twelve children aged nine to twelve. Explaining loops with a game about collecting cotton made me realise that if I cannot explain an idea simply, I do not really understand it. I also contribute small fixes to an open-source Uzbek spell-checker, which taught me to read other people’s code and to accept criticism from reviewers. In the summer, I helped in my aunt’s shop, and watching customers pay by QR code made me think about security and reliability. I now read news about data leaks with a new question in mind: which design decision made the leak possible? These experiences have shown me that programming is teamwork and that good software starts with the people who use it. I am ready for the group projects at university, and I hope to continue teaching younger students during my degree.

Har javobning tahlili

1-javob. Ochilish aniq voqea: mahalladagi do‘kon, daftar, Telegram bot. Keyin eng muhim burilish: "What surprised me most was not the code but the questions behind it." Bu gap qiziqish yuzaki emasligini ko‘rsatadi. Oxirida fan nomi va yo‘nalish (kichik biznes uchun dasturlar) aytilgan. "Since childhood I have loved computers" kabi gap yo‘q.

2-javob. Baholar ro‘yxati yo‘q: UCAS ularni arizaning boshqa qismida ko‘radi.

3-javob. Ko‘ngillilik raqamlar bilan (o‘n ikki bola, 9–12 yosh) va har tajribadan keyin "nimani o‘rgandim" bor. Savolning ikkinchi qismi — why are these experiences useful — ko‘pchilik unutadigan qism. Oxirgi gap universitetdagi guruh loyihalariga bog‘langan.

Belgilarni sanash: 4 000 qanchalik ko‘p

4 000 belgi — taxminan 600–700 inglizcha so‘z. Word yoki Google Docs’dagi belgi hisobida "characters with spaces" ni tanlang. Matnni avval hujjatda yozing, keyin UCAS formasiga joylashtiring va u yerda hisobni qayta tekshiring: nusxalashda qo‘shtirnoq va chiziqchalar o‘zgarishi mumkin.

Tartib: avval har savolga hajmidan qat’i nazar yozing, keyin qisqartiring. Qisqartirishda birinchi navbatda "I think that", "very", "really", "in order to" kabi so‘zlar ketadi.

UCAS javoblaridagi tipik xatolar

  • Bitta universitetga yozish. Statement 5 ta kursga boradi. "I want to study at King’s College" deb yozsangiz, qolgan to‘rtta universitet buni o‘qiydi.
  • Turli fanlarni aralashtirish. Ikkita kursga Computer Science, uchtasiga Economics tanlasangiz, bitta statement ikkalasiga ishonarli bo‘lmaydi.
  • Ikkinchi savolda baholarni sanash. "I got 5 in maths, 5 in physics" o‘rniga fan sizni nimaga o‘rgatganini yozing.
  • Uchinchi savolda faqat ro‘yxat. Har tajribadan keyin which taught me…, this showed me… bilan xulosa bering.
  • Takrorlash. UCAS uchta javobni bir butun sifatida o‘qiydi. Bitta voqeani ikki javobda aytmang.
  • Ruscha-o‘zbekcha kalka. I participated in olympiad → I took part in the olympiad; I am interested by → I am interested in.

Magistraturaga ariza berayotgan bo‘lsangiz, bu format sizga emas: universitetning o‘z formasi va magistratura uchun motivatsion xat kerak bo‘ladi.

Kuchsiz gapdan kuchli gapga

KuchsizKuchli
I have always been passionate about medicine.Volunteering at a children’s hospital in Samarkand showed me how much a clear explanation calms a frightened patient.
I am a hard-working and responsible student.I combined olympiad training with my school exams and kept both on track by planning each week on Sunday.
I did many activities.I led a team of five students that organised a book swap for 200 pupils.
I read a lot of books about economics.A chapter on price controls made me compare bread prices in Tashkent over three years.

Bo‘sh reja: har savol uchun 4 qadam

1-savol uchun: voqea (2–3 gap) → undan tug‘ilgan savol (1 gap) → fan nima uchun javob beradi (2 gap) → qaysi yo‘nalish qiziq (1 gap).

2-savol uchun: eng yaqin fan va undagi 1 mavzu → olimpiada, loyiha yoki onlayn kurs → nima o‘rgatdi → ingliz tili qanday tayyorlangani (ixtiyoriy).

3-savol uchun: 2–3 tajriba (ko‘ngillilik, ish, loyiha, o‘qish) → har biri qaysi ko‘nikmani berdi → universitetda qanday foydasi bo‘ladi.

Mashq: gapni to‘g‘ri savolga joylang

Quyidagi gaplar qaysi savolga (1, 2 yoki 3) eng mos keladi?

  • a. In chemistry lessons, titration experiments taught me to record results carefully.
  • b. Watching my grandfather manage his diabetes made me want to understand how the body controls sugar.
  • c. Working weekends at a pharmacy, I learned how to explain dosage instructions to older customers.
  • d. I am fascinated by the question of why some medicines work for one patient and not another.
  • e. My biology teacher encouraged me to enter a regional science fair, where I presented a project on local water quality.
  • f. Coaching younger pupils for the school volleyball team showed me how to give feedback without discouraging people.
  • g. Studying three languages at school helps me read scientific articles in English and Russian.
  • h. This experience will help me in the team-based laboratory work at university.

Javoblar

a — 2; b — 1; c — 3; d — 1; e — 2; f — 3; g — 2; h — 3.

e gapi chegarada turadi: ilmiy ko‘rgazma maktab orqali bo‘lgani uchun 2-savolga qo‘yildi. Agar u butunlay maktabdan tashqari tashabbus bo‘lsa, 3-savolga ham mos keladi. Muhimi, bitta voqeani ikki joyda aytmaslik.

Statementdan keyin: tavsiyanoma va intervyu

UCAS arizasi reference (tavsiyanoma) kiritilmaguncha yuborilmaydi. Uni ustozingiz UCAS tizimida o‘zi to‘ldiradi; nimani so‘rash va qanday tayyorlash universitet uchun tavsiyanoma sahifasida. Umumiy tayyorgarlik rejasini esa chet elda o‘qish yo‘l xaritasidan ko‘ring.

Uchta javobni gapirib ko‘rish

Ba’zi universitetlar, ayniqsa tibbiyot va Oxbridge, intervyu o‘tkazadi va statementingizdagi voqealar haqida so‘raydi. BandMate ilovasida Bandi bilan "Why do you want to study this subject?" savoliga 1–2 daqiqalik javob berib ko‘ring: yozgan narsangizni erkin gapira olsangiz, u haqiqatan sizniki. Ilova talaffuz va ravonlik bo‘yicha fikr beradi, rasmiy baho emas.
