IELTS Reading True False Not Given: misollar va javoblar

True, False va Not Given farqi: qaror jadvali, ipak haqidagi matnda 6 ta tahlil qilingan gap va kutubxona matnida 6 savollik javobli mashq.

IELTS Reading matnidagi gapni True, False yoki Not Given deb belgilayotgan o‘quvchining savol varag‘i

True False Not Given savolida har bir gapni matndagi ma’lumot bilan solishtirasiz. Gap matn bilan bir xil ma’noni bersa True, matnga zid bo‘lsa False, matnda bu haqda tasdiq ham, inkor ham bo‘lmasa Not Given yozasiz. Eng ko‘p ball False va Not Given orasida yo‘qotiladi, shuning uchun quyida ularni ajratadigan bitta savol, tahlil qilingan misol va javobli mashq bor.

Matnlar mashq uchun yozilgan, ular rasmiy IELTS materiali emas.

Rasmiy ta’rif va asosiy farq

IELTS’ning rasmiy Reading formati bu savol turini identifying information deb ataydi: siz gap matndagi ma’lumotga mos keladimi, zid keladimi yoki buni matndan aniqlab bo‘lmaydimi, shuni ko‘rsatasiz. Muallifning fikri so‘ralganda esa Yes, No, Not Given ishlatiladi. Bu turni Yes No Not Given sahifasida alohida tahlil qilganmiz.

Not GivenMavzu bor, lekin aynan shu da’vo haqida ma’lumot yo‘qStatement to‘g‘ri yoki noto‘g‘ri ekanini matndan bilib bo‘lmaydimi?

False va Not Given uchun bitta savol: “Matnda statementni rad etadigan gapni barmoq bilan ko‘rsata olamanmi?” Ko‘rsata olsangiz False. Ko‘rsata olmasangiz, garchi statement sizga g‘alati tuyulsa ham, Not Given.

Besh qadamli ishlash tartibi

  1. Statementdagi kalit so‘zni tanlang. Ism, raqam, sana yoki kam uchraydigan so‘z matnda tez topiladi. Mulberry, Margilan, cocoon kabi so‘zlar yaxshi yo‘l ko‘rsatkich.
  2. Cheklovchi so‘zlarni aylana ichiga oling. All, some, most, only, always, never, usually, more than, the first kabi so‘zlar javobni ko‘pincha hal qiladi.
  3. Matndagi tegishli gapni to‘liq o‘qing. Bitta so‘z mos kelgani yetmaydi, gap oxirigacha o‘qing: however yoki but dan keyin ma’no o‘zgarishi mumkin.
  4. Uch ustunli jadval bo‘yicha qaror qiling. Ikkilanib qolsangiz, yuqoridagi False savolini bering.
  5. Keyingi statementga o‘ting. Amalda javoblar ko‘pincha matndagi tartibda keladi. Bitta statementni topa olmasangiz, keyingisini toping: izlagan javobingiz ikkalasi orasida bo‘ladi.

Tahlil qilingan misol: ipak qanday olinadi

Matn A (mashq uchun yozilgan):

Silk is produced by the larvae of a moth, usually called silkworms. For several weeks the larvae do little except eat, and in traditional production they are fed almost entirely on fresh mulberry leaves. When a larva is ready to change into an adult, it produces a cocoon from a single continuous thread. To obtain long threads, producers normally heat the cocoons before the adult insect can break out, since a damaged cocoon gives only short fibres. Short fibres are not wasted, however; they can be spun into a rougher type of yarn. In the Fergana Valley, silk has been woven by hand for generations, and towns such as Margilan are known for patterned fabrics. Some workshops now use chemical dyes because they are cheaper and faster to prepare, but others have returned to plant-based dyes, arguing that visitors are prepared to pay more for them. Workshop owners say the greatest challenge is not selling the fabric but finding young people willing to spend years learning the craft.

Statementlar 1–6. TRUE, FALSE yoki NOT GIVEN deb yozing.

  • 1. In traditional production, silkworms eat a wide variety of leaves.
  • 2. Each cocoon is made from one thread.
  • 3. Cocoons are heated in order to make the thread stronger.
  • 4. Short fibres from damaged cocoons cannot be used.
  • 5. Plant-based dyes cost more than chemical dyes.
  • 6. Most young people in the Fergana Valley are not interested in weaving.

Tahlil:

  • 1 — FALSE. Matnda almost entirely on fresh mulberry leaves. “Deyarli faqat tut bargi” va “turli xil barglar” bir-biriga zid. Rad etuvchi gapni ko‘rsata olamiz.
  • 2 — TRUE. A single continuous thread → one thread. Oddiy paraphrase.
  • 3 — NOT GIVEN. Pillani qizdirishning sababi matnda bor: uzun ip olish. Ipni mustahkamlash haqida esa hech narsa aytilmagan. Matn boshqa sabab aytgani statementni rad etmaydi, chunki bir ishning bir necha sababi bo‘lishi mumkin. Bu turdagi tuzoq juda ko‘p uchraydi.
  • 4 — FALSE. Short fibres are not wasted … they can be spun into a rougher type of yarn. To‘g‘ridan-to‘g‘ri zid.
  • 5 — TRUE. Matn kimyoviy bo‘yoqlar cheaper ekanini aytadi. Demak o‘simlik bo‘yoqlari qimmatroq. Bu xulosa matndan qat’iy kelib chiqadi, taxmin emas.
  • 6 — NOT GIVEN. Ustaxona egalari yosh shogird topish qiyinligini aytadi. Lekin bu yoshlarning ko‘pchiligi qiziqmaydi degani emas: balki qiziqadi, ammo boshqa ishni tanlaydi. Most so‘zini tasdiqlaydigan ham, rad etadigan ham ma’lumot yo‘q.

5-statementga e’tibor bering. True uchun matnda aynan shu so‘zlar bo‘lishi shart emas: ma’no matndan majburiy ravishda kelib chiqsa yetadi. 6-statementda esa ma’no faqat mumkin, majburiy emas, shuning uchun Not Given.

O‘zbek o‘quvchilarga xos xatolar

  • O‘z bilimidan foydalanish. Marg‘ilon atlasi haqida ko‘p narsa bilishingiz mumkin. Lekin statement matnda bo‘lmasa, hayotda to‘g‘ri bo‘lsa ham javob Not Given. Mahalliy mavzudagi matnlarda bu xavf ikki baravar oshadi.
  • Cheklovchi so‘zni tarjimada yo‘qotish. Ichingizda o‘zbekchaga o‘girsangiz, usually va always, some va most bir xil “ko‘pincha” bo‘lib qoladi. Bu so‘zlarni tarjima qilmang, aylana ichiga olib, matndagi mosini qidiring.
  • Inkor gapni avtomatik False deb bilish. Statementda not bo‘lsa, javob False bo‘lishi shart emas. Short fibres cannot be used inkor gap va javob False, chunki matn aksini aytadi. Lekin Workshops do not export fabric kabi gap bu matnda Not Given bo‘lardi.
  • Bir so‘z mos kelsa True yozish. Statement va matnda bir xil so‘z bo‘lishi ko‘pincha tuzoq. So‘z emas, butun da’voni solishtiring.
  • Javobni qisqartirib yozish. Ko‘rsatmada TRUE, FALSE or NOT GIVEN deyilgan bo‘lsa, T, F, NG deb qisqartirish qabul qilinadimi, degan savolga xavf qilmang: ko‘rsatmadagi so‘zni to‘liq yozing.

Mashq: kutubxonalarning yangi roli

Matn B (mashq uchun yozilgan):

When e-books became popular, many people predicted that public libraries would soon close. In practice, the number of printed books borrowed has fallen in many countries, but libraries have found new roles. A large number now offer free internet access, which is especially important for people who cannot afford a home connection. Some also run language classes, help job seekers write CVs, or lend unusual items such as tools and musical instruments. Library staff report that these services attract visitors who had never used a library before. Not everyone welcomes the change. Some long-term users complain that reading rooms have become noisy, and a few librarians feel that their training in managing book collections is now undervalued. Funding remains the biggest uncertainty, because libraries are usually paid for by local governments, and their budgets are often reduced when money is short.

Statementlar 7–12. TRUE, FALSE yoki NOT GIVEN deb yozing. Har biri uchun matndagi dalil gapini tagiga chizing yoki “dalil yo‘q” deb yozing.

  • 7. Some people believed that e-books would lead to libraries closing.
  • 8. The borrowing of printed books has increased in many countries.
  • 9. Free internet access in libraries is used mainly by students.
  • 10. Some libraries lend objects other than books.
  • 11. All librarians are happy with the new services.
  • 12. Most public libraries receive their money from the national government.

Avval o‘zingiz yeching, keyin kalitga qarang.

Javoblar va dalillar

  • 7 — TRUE. Many people predicted that public libraries would soon close. Many people → some people: “ko‘p odam” ichida “ba’zi odamlar” ham bor, ma’no zid emas.
  • 8 — FALSE. The number of printed books borrowed has fallen. Ko‘paygan emas, kamaygan.
  • 9 — NOT GIVEN. Matnda internetdan uyda ulanishga pul yetmaydigan odamlar foydalanishi aytilgan. Talabalar haqida hech narsa yo‘q. Students so‘zi sizga mantiqli tuyulsa ham, dalil yo‘q.
  • 10 — TRUE. Lend unusual items such as tools and musical instruments.
  • 11 — FALSE. A few librarians feel that their training … is now undervalued. Hamma xursand emas: rad etuvchi gap bor.
  • 12 — FALSE. Libraries are usually paid for by local governments. Mahalliy hokimiyat, milliy hukumat emas.

Natijani qanday o‘qish kerak: 6 tadan 5–6 tasi to‘g‘ri bo‘lsa, usul ishlayapti, endi vaqt bilan mashq qiling. False va Not Given’ni almashtirgan bo‘lsangiz, xato qilgan har bir savol uchun bir gap yozing: “Rad etuvchi dalil: …” yoki “Dalil yo‘q, chunki matnda faqat … aytilgan”. Bir haftada shunday 20 ta gap yozsangiz, qaror tezlashadi.

Imtihonda vaqt

True False Not Given savollari ko‘pincha tez yechiladi, chunki javoblar odatda matn tartibida keladi. Bir statement ustida uzoq qolib ketsangiz, eng ehtimolli javobni yozing, savol raqamini belgilang va davom eting. Uchta matnga vaqt taqsimlash rejasi IELTS Reading vaqtni boshqarish sahifasida bor.
