В Part 1 экзаменатор задаёт простые вопросы о вас: работа или учёба, дом, родной город, привычки, увлечения. Хороший ответ — прямой ответ в первом предложении + причина или деталь + маленький пример, всего два-три предложения. Не нужно ни вступлений в духе That’s a very interesting question, ни монологов на минуту. Ниже — 10 частых тем, по три учебных вопроса в каждой и по одному ответу в двух вариантах с разбором.
Что говорит официальное описание
По описанию формата на ielts.org, Speaking — это разговор лицом к лицу с экзаменатором, который записывается и длится 11–14 минут. Part 1 занимает 4–5 минут: экзаменатор задаёт общие вопросы на знакомые темы, например о доме, семье, работе, учёбе и интересах. Оценка идёт по четырём критериям, описанным в официальных band descriptors: беглость и связность, словарный запас, грамматика, произношение.
Все вопросы ниже — учебные, составлены редакцией по типичным темам, а не взяты из реального экзамена. Пометки «около 6» и «7+» — ориентир редакции для сравнения, а не официальная оценка.
Четыре правила для русскоязычных
- Время глагола берите из вопроса. Do you…? — отвечайте в Present Simple. Did you… when you were a child? — в Past Simple. Would you like to…? — I’d love to / I don’t think I would. Have you ever…? — Yes, I have. I … last year (детали уже в Past Simple).
- Не забывайте артикль в первой фразе. I am student и I work in bank слышны сразу. Правильно: I’m a student, I work at a bank.
- Отвечайте на «да/нет» полным ответом. Yes. — это ответ на письменный тест. Устно: Yes, quite a lot, actually…
- Не переводите «в наше время» и «в современном мире». In the modern world звучит как начало сочинения. В Part 1 говорят these days или вообще без этого.
10 тем: вопросы и образцы ответов
1. Work or studies
Учебные вопросы: Do you work or are you a student? What do you like about your job? Is there anything you would change about your studies?
Вопрос: What do you like about your job?
Около 6: I like my job because it is interesting. I work in IT company and I have good colleagues.
7+: Mostly the people, to be honest. I’m a junior developer at a small IT company, and my team is really supportive. Whenever I get stuck, someone always finds time to look at my code.
Разбор: во втором ответе нет interesting без объяснения, есть конкретика (junior developer, get stuck) и артикль на месте: at a small IT company.
2. Hometown
Учебные вопросы: Where are you from? What’s the best thing about your hometown? Has your hometown changed much?
Вопрос: Has your hometown changed much in recent years?
Около 6: Yes, it changed very much. There are many new buildings and new roads.
7+: Quite a lot, yes. I’m from Namangan, and over the last few years they’ve rebuilt the whole centre. There’s a new park with fountains where there used to be old shops, so it looks much greener now.
Разбор: вопрос в Present Perfect — и ответ тоже (they’ve rebuilt). Used to показывает, как было раньше. Ошибка it changed very much типична: в вопросе has changed.
3. Home
Учебные вопросы: Do you live in a house or a flat? Which room do you spend the most time in? Would you like to move somewhere else?
Вопрос: Which room do you spend the most time in?
Около 6: I spend most time in my room. There I study and sleep and use my computer.
7+: Probably my bedroom, because it doubles as my study. I’ve got a desk by the window, so that’s where I prepare for classes. In the evenings, though, I’m usually in the kitchen with my family.
Разбор: the most time, а не most time. Выражение doubles as (служит также как) — естественная лексика без «заумности». Though добавляет контраст.
4. Mornings and routine
Учебные вопросы: Are you a morning person? What do you usually do in the morning? Has your routine changed since you were a child?
Вопрос: Are you a morning person?
Около 6: No, I am not morning person. I like to sleep and I wake up late.
7+: Not really, no. I’m much more productive in the evening. On weekdays I have to get up at seven, but at weekends I happily sleep until ten.
Разбор: ответ начинается с Not really, no — прямо на вопрос. Контраст on weekdays / at weekends сам удлиняет ответ.
5. Free time
Учебные вопросы: What do you do in your free time? Do you prefer spending free time alone or with others? Did you have more free time as a child?
Вопрос: Did you have more free time as a child?
Около 6: Yes, I have more free time when I am child. I play football every day.
7+: Definitely. When I was at school, lessons finished at one, so I had the whole afternoon to play football with the boys from our mahalla. Now I’m lucky if I get one free evening a week.
Разбор: вопрос в прошлом — ответ в Past Simple. Фраза Now I’m lucky if… красиво возвращает к настоящему.
6. Food and cooking
Учебные вопросы: Do you enjoy cooking? What food did you like when you were younger? Do people in your country often eat out?
Вопрос: Do you enjoy cooking?
Около 6: Yes, I enjoy. I can cook plov and some salads.
7+: I do, although I only cook at weekends. My speciality is plov, which my dad taught me. It takes about two hours, so it’s more of a family event than just a meal.
Разбор: I enjoy без дополнения — ошибка; нужно I do или I enjoy it. Придаточное which my dad taught me показывает грамматический диапазон естественно.
7. Weather
Учебные вопросы: What’s the weather like where you live? Do you prefer hot or cold weather? Does the weather affect your mood?
Вопрос: Does the weather affect your mood?
Около 6: Yes, when weather is bad I am sad and when weather is good I am happy.
7+: A bit, yes. Long grey days in winter make me feel quite lazy. But as soon as spring comes and the trees start blossoming, I get much more energetic.
Разбор: вместо sad/happy — lazy, energetic. As soon as — связка, которая звучит естественно в речи.
8. Transport
Учебные вопросы: How do you usually get to work or school? Do you like travelling by public transport? Is there good public transport in your city?
Вопрос: How do you usually get to work?
Около 6: I go by metro. It is fast and cheap.
7+: I take the metro most days. It’s only four stops, and it’s much quicker than sitting in traffic. If I’m running late, I sometimes grab a taxi, but that gets expensive.
Разбор: most days, running late, grab a taxi — разговорные сочетания. Ответ сравнивает варианты, а не просто называет один.
9. Phones and apps
Учебные вопросы: How often do you use your phone? Which apps do you use most? Did you have a phone when you were a child?
Вопрос: Which apps do you use most?
Около 6: I use Telegram and Instagram. Telegram is for chat and Instagram is for photos.
7+: Telegram, without a doubt. Almost everything in Uzbekistan happens there: my university group, my family chat, even news channels. Apart from that, I use a map app a lot because I’m terrible with directions.
Разбор: личная деталь (I’m terrible with directions) делает ответ живым. Apart from that — простая связка вместо Secondly.
10. Music
Учебные вопросы: What kind of music do you like? When do you usually listen to music? Have you ever learned to play an instrument?
Вопрос: Have you ever learned to play an instrument?
Около 6: Yes, I learned guitar. But I stopped.
7+: Yes, I have. I took guitar lessons for about a year when I was fourteen, but I gave up when exams started. I can still play a couple of songs, though, and I’d love to pick it up again.
Разбор: Yes, I have + детали в Past Simple — ровно то, как работает Have you ever. Pick it up again — фразовый глагол в точном значении «снова взяться».
Типичная картина ответа «около 6»
Посмотрите на ответы уровня «около 6» вместе: они понятны, но короткие, повторяют слова из вопроса, теряют артикли и путают время. Ответы «7+» не сложнее по словам — они конкретнее. Для каждого вопроса выберите естественное начало ответа и обратите внимание на время глагола.
- 1. Did you enjoy school? — (a) Yes, I enjoy it. (b) Mostly, yes. I had some great teachers.
- 2. Would you like to live abroad? — (a) Yes, I like. (b) I’d love to, at least for a while.
- 3. Have you ever been to Samarkand? — (a) Yes, I have. I went there last spring. (b) Yes, I have been there last spring.
- 4. Do you work or study? — (a) I am student of university. (b) I’m a student. I’m in my second year at university.
- 5. How often do you cook? — (a) Not that often, maybe twice a week. (b) In the modern world cooking plays an important role.
- 6. Is your city a good place for young people? — (a) Yes. (b) I’d say so, especially for students.
- 7. What did you do last weekend? — (a) I meet my friends. (b) Nothing special, I just caught up with some friends.
Ответы
- 1 — (b). Вопрос в прошлом, а вариант (a) отвечает в настоящем: I enjoy it.
- 2 — (b). На Would you like отвечают I’d love to / I’d like to; I like без дополнения — ошибка.
- 3 — (a). Have you ever → Yes, I have, а конкретное время (last spring) требует Past Simple.
- 4 — (b). Артикль a student и естественное in my second year.
- 5 — (a). Прямой ответ сразу; вариант (b) — вступление из сочинения.
- 6 — (b). Одно Yes ничего не даёт экзаменатору; I’d say so — мягкое «пожалуй, да».
- 7 — (b). Прошлое время: caught up with, а не meet.
