Restoran kartasi uchun eng qimmat joyni emas, eng ko‘p boradigan joyingizni tanlang. Imtihonchini interyer yoki narx qiziqtirmaydi; u sizning taomni, joyning muhitini va u yerdagi odamlarni ingliz tilida qanchalik jonli tasvirlashingizni eshitadi. Talabalar kafesi, mahalladagi choyxona yoki oilaviy lag‘monxona bu kartaga dabdabali restorandan ko‘ra yaxshiroq mos keladi, chunki ular haqida sizda haqiqiy voqealar bor.
Quyida avval kerakli iboralar, keyin qaydlar va namuna keladi. Tartib ataylab shunday: restoran haqida gapirishda asosiy qiyinchilik so‘z topishda, shuning uchun lug‘atni birinchi qo‘ydik.
Mashq kartasi: yoqadigan restoran
Mashq uchun tuzilgan karta; rasmiy imtihon kartasi emas.
Describe a restaurant you enjoy going to.
You should say:
- where it is
- what kind of food it serves
- who you usually go there with
- and explain why you like it.
IELTS.org ma’lumotiga ko‘ra, imtihonchi karta bilan birga qalam va qog‘oz beradi, bir daqiqa tayyorlanasiz va 2 daqiqa gapirasiz. Shundan so‘ng bir-ikki qisqa savol bo‘lishi mumkin.

Qaydlar: joy, taom, odamlar, voqea
Bir daqiqada karta bandlarini to‘ldiring, ammo alohida qatorni bitta esda qolgan voqeaga ajrating: aynan u javobni boshqalardan ajratib turadi.
- Where: small lagman café near uni, Yunusobod, 2 yrs, almost every Friday
- Food: lagman = hand-pulled noodles, beef, veg, spicy sauce; kitchen behind glass → watch cook
- Who: 2 course-mates, after last lecture
- Place: plastic tables, TV on mute, 3 dishes; huge portions, cheap
- People: owner Akmal aka remembers orders, “less pepper”
- Moment: tried pulling noodles myself → dough snapped, kitchen laughing
- Why: nothing pretending; made in front of you; regular, not customer; take guests there
Namuna javob: Yunusoboddagi lag‘monxona
Mashq namunasi, ovoz chiqarib o‘qilganda ikki daqiqaga yaqin. Band 7 atrofidagi javob uslubini ko‘rsatadi, rasmiy baholangan javob emas.
The place I’d like to talk about isn’t really a restaurant in the fancy sense. It’s a small lagman café near my university in Yunusobod, and I’ve been going there almost every Friday for about two years.
Lagman, in case you haven’t tried it, is a dish of thick hand-pulled noodles with beef and vegetables in a spicy sauce. What makes this place different is that the kitchen is behind a big glass window, so while you’re waiting you can watch the cook stretching the dough and slapping it on the table until it turns into long noodles. It’s almost hypnotic.
I usually go with two friends from my course straight after our last lecture on Friday. The café itself is nothing special to look at: plastic tables, a TV in the corner that’s always on mute, and no proper menu, because they basically make three dishes. But the portions are enormous, and it’s cheap enough for students, so we can eat there every week without feeling guilty.
The owner, Akmal aka, is a big part of the appeal. After our third or fourth visit he started remembering our orders, and he knows I like mine with less pepper. Once, when it was quiet, he even let me go behind the glass and try pulling the noodles myself. It was a disaster: the dough kept snapping in the middle and the whole kitchen was laughing at me, but I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a meal more.
So why do I like it? I think it’s because nothing there is pretending. The food is made right in front of you, the price is fair, and you’re treated like a regular rather than a customer. Whenever friends visit me from home, it’s the first place I take them.
Band 6 → band 7: beshta gap
| Band 6 atrofida | Band 7 uslubida | Nima o‘zgardi |
|---|---|---|
| It is small cafe, it is near my university. | It’s a small lagman café near my university in Yunusobod. | Artikl, ikki gap bitta bo‘ldi |
| The food is very tasty and very delicious. | It’s a dish of thick hand-pulled noodles with beef in a spicy sauce. | Maqtov o‘rniga tavsif |
| You can see how cook makes lagman. | You can watch the cook stretching the dough until it turns into long noodles. | Watch someone doing, jarayon tasviri |
| The price is cheap and food is many. | The portions are enormous, and it’s cheap enough for students. | Price “cheap” bo‘lmaydi; portions |
| I like this cafe because it is good. | You’re treated like a regular rather than a customer. | Aniq sabab, rather than bilan kontrast |
Restoran haqida gapirganda: tasty, cheap va “the price is cheap”
- “Very delicious.” Delicious allaqachon kuchli sifat, shuning uchun very bilan g‘alati eshitiladi. Absolutely delicious yoki really good deng. Yaxshisi, ta’mni tasvirlang: spicy, rich, fresh, filling.
- “The price is cheap.” Narx “arzon” emas, “past” bo‘ladi: The prices are low yoki oddiygina It’s cheap.
- “Waiter brought us food.” Aniq odam haqida gapirsangiz, artikl kerak: The waiter brought our food.
- “We ate lunch in there.” In there ortiqcha: We had lunch there.
- “I recommend you to go there.” Tabiiy variant: I’d recommend it yoki I’d recommend going there.
- Café talaffuzi. Inglizcha /ˈkæfeɪ/: urg‘u birinchi bo‘g‘inda, oxiri “ey”. O‘zbekcha “kafe” kabi aytilsa ham tushuniladi, lekin inglizcha shaklini bilgan ma’qul.
Kafeda buyurtma berish iboralari kerak bo‘lsa, kafeda buyurtma berish inglizcha sahifasiga qarang.
Fluency and coherence ustunini tekshirish: pauzalarni ikki turga ajratish
Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning Fluency and coherence ustunida pauzalarning sababi farqlanadi. Band 7 da ikkilanish, takror yoki o‘zini tuzatish ko‘pincha gap o‘rtasida uchraydi va to‘g‘ri so‘z topishdagi qiyinchilikni ko‘rsatadi, lekin izchillikni buzmaydi. Band 8 da ikkilanish ba’zan so‘z yoki grammatika izlash uchun bo‘ladi, ammo ko‘pchiligi mazmun bilan bog‘liq, ya’ni nima deyishni o‘ylash uchun.
Shu farqni o‘z yozuvingizda ko‘rish tartibi:
- 1 daqiqa. O‘z restoraningiz bo‘yicha qaydlar yozing.
- 2 daqiqa. Taymer bilan gapiring va yozib oling.
- 4 daqiqa. Tinglab, har bir sezilarli pauza (taxminan bir soniyadan uzun, “eee” bilan to‘ldirilgan bo‘lsa ham) uchun bitta belgi qo‘ying: M — keyingi fikrni o‘ylagansiz, S — so‘z yoki grammatika izlagansiz. S belgisi yoniga o‘sha paytda topolmagan so‘zni yozing (masalan, “porsiya”, “qalampir”).
- 2 daqiqa. S lar ko‘p bo‘lsa, muammo ravonlikda emas, lug‘atda. Yozilgan so‘zlarning inglizchasini toping va har biri bilan bitta gap tuzing.
- 2 daqiqa. Qayta gapiring. S lar kamaygan-kamaymaganini sanang; M lar qolishi normal.
Bu tekshiruvni har kuni boshqa mavzuda qilish uchun fluency 30 kunlik reja ga qo‘shib olishingiz mumkin.
Part 3: tashqarida ovqatlanish haqida 4 savol
Savollar mashq uchun. Javob g‘oyalari to‘liq javob emas, faqat yo‘nalish.
- Why do people eat out more often than in the past? Mainly because of busy schedules. When both parents work, cooking every evening is hard, and cafés have become much more affordable.
- Is it better to eat at home or in restaurants? At home, for health and money. But restaurants have a social role: it’s often easier to have a long conversation when nobody has to cook or wash up.
- How has food delivery changed people’s habits? It’s made people eat out less and order in more. In my building, couriers arrive every evening, which would have been unthinkable ten years ago.
- Should restaurants be required to show how healthy their food is? Big chains, probably yes, because they have the resources. For a small family café, it could be an unfair burden.
Ovqat haqida Part 1 savollari Part 1: food sahifasida, milliy taom kartasi esa describe a traditional food sahifasida.
