Qo‘shiq kartasida ko‘pchilik ikki xatodan biriga tushadi: yo qo‘shiq matnini yoddan aytib beradi, yo “it is very beautiful, I like it very much” deb 20 soniyada to‘xtaydi. Ikki daqiqani to‘ldiradigan narsa qo‘shiqning siz bilan bog‘liq tarixi: uni birinchi marta qayerda eshitgansiz, qanday yangraydi (sekinmi, tezmi, qaysi cholg‘ular), qaysi voqea u bilan bog‘langan va nega hozir ham uni qo‘yasiz.
Qo‘shiqni nomi bilan ayting va mazmunini o‘z so‘zlaringiz bilan qisqa tushuntiring. Matnning o‘zini keltirish shart emas va foydasi ham yo‘q.
Mashq kartasi: siz uchun qadrli qo‘shiq
BandMate tahririyati tuzgan mashq kartasi, rasmiy imtihon materiali emas.
Describe a song that is special to you.
You should say:
- what the song is
- when you first heard it
- what it sounds like
- and explain why it is special to you.
Rasmiy formatga ko‘ra, Part 2 da bir daqiqa tayyorlanasiz, imtihonchi qaydlar uchun qalam-qog‘oz beradi va siz 2 daqiqa gapirasiz. Part 3 da mavzu umumiyroq savollar bilan davom etadi.
Qo‘shiq matnini keltirmang: o‘rniga nima deysiz
Yodlangan bir qator qo‘shiq so‘zi sizning ingliz tilingizni ko‘rsatmaydi, chunki uni boshqa odam yozgan. O‘zbekcha qo‘shiq bo‘lsa, imtihonchi tushunmaydi; inglizcha qo‘shiq bo‘lsa, yodlangan matn sifatida eshitiladi. Buning o‘rniga qo‘shiqni tasvirlang:
| Nimani aytish | Qanday aytish mumkin |
|---|---|
| Mavzusi | Roughly speaking, it’s a song about leaving home. |
| Kayfiyati | It starts off quite sad, but the ending is hopeful. |
| Sur’ati | It begins slowly and gets faster and faster. |
| Cholg‘ular | It’s mostly drums and a wind instrument, with no guitar at all. |
| Tarjima qiyinligi | I can’t translate it word for word, but the idea is… |
Shu jadvaldagi beshta gapning har biri qo‘shiq nomidan ko‘ra ko‘proq ball keltiradi, chunki ularning hammasi sizning so‘zlaringiz.
Qaydlar: tovush, xotira, sabab
- Song: Lazgi, Khorezm (family’s region); grandma’s cassette in Urgench
- First heard: every family wedding as a kid

- Story: shy teen, refused to dance (hands, shoulders); cousin’s wedding last year; grandma: “stand by the wall forever?”; practised 2 weeks with videos
- Moment: out of time at first → sped up → let go; grandma laughing
- Why: link to Khorezm, homesick in Tashkent; fears → more fun than expected
Namuna javob: buvimning kassetasidagi Lazgi
Mashq uchun yozilgan namuna, gapirilganda taxminan ikki daqiqa. Band 7 atrofidagi nutq qanday eshitilishini ko‘rsatadi; rasmiy baho emas. E’tibor bering: javobda qo‘shiq matnidan birorta ham qator yo‘q.
The song I’d like to talk about is Lazgi, a traditional song and dance from Khorezm, which is the region my family comes from. Strictly speaking, there are dozens of versions of it, but the one I mean is the recording my grandmother in Urgench plays on her old cassette player.
I must have heard it hundreds of times as a child, because it’s played at every family wedding. What makes it instantly recognisable is the way it’s built: it begins really slowly, almost lazily, with just a drum and a couple of instruments, and then it gets faster and faster until the dancers can barely keep up. By the end, everyone in the room is either dancing or clapping.
For years, though, I refused to dance to it. I was a shy teenager, and the movements, with the shaking hands and shoulders, looked impossible and a bit embarrassing to me. Then last year my cousin got married, and my grandmother asked me, quite seriously, whether I was planning to stand by the wall at every wedding for the rest of my life. So I secretly practised in my room for about two weeks, watching videos and copying the hand movements.
At the wedding, when the music started, I joined in. I was completely out of time for the first minute, but once it sped up, nobody was watching anyone any more, and I just let go. My grandmother laughed so much she had to sit down.
So it’s special to me for two reasons. It connects me to Khorezm, even though I live in Tashkent now, and whenever I’m homesick I put it on. And it reminds me that the things I’m scared of usually turn out to be more fun than I expect.

Qo‘shiq haqida gapirganda: listen to, by va “lyrics is”
- “I listen this song every day.” Listen dan keyin to: I listen to it every day. Hear esa to siz: I first heard it at a wedding.
- “A song of Sevara Nazarkhan.” Ijrochini by bilan ayting: a song by Sevara Nazarkhan.
- “The lyrics is beautiful.” Lyrics ko‘plikda: The lyrics are… Bitta qator: a line.
- “I like it because it is my favourite.” Doiraviy sabab. Sababni voqea bilan bering: because it was playing when…

Intonatsiyani tekshirish: to‘rtta 30 soniyalik bo‘lak
Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning Pronunciation ustunida band 6 uchun intonatsiya va urg‘u ba’zan samarali ishlatilishi, lekin butun nutq davomida saqlanmasligi yozilgan. Band 8 da uzun gaplar davomida ham urg‘u va intonatsiya moslashuvchan boshqariladi, ba’zi uzilishlarga qaramay. Band 7 band 6 ning barcha ijobiy belgilarini va band 8 belgilarining bir qismini ko‘rsatadi. Demak, bu yerda asosiy so‘z — “saqlanishi”: ko‘p o‘quvchilarning ovozi birinchi 30 soniyada jonli, oxirida esa bir tekis bo‘lib qoladi.
- 1 daqiqa. O‘z qo‘shig‘ingiz bo‘yicha qaydlar yozing.
- 2 daqiqa. Taymer bilan gapirib yozib oling.
- 3 daqiqa. Yozuvni to‘rtta 30 soniyalik bo‘lakka ajratib tinglang. Har bo‘lakka baho qo‘ying: 1 — ovoz bir tekis, 2 — ba’zan ko‘tarilib-tushadi, 3 — muhim so‘zlar aniq ajralib turadi.
- 2 daqiqa. Eng past baho olgan bo‘lakdan ikkita gap tanlang va qarama-qarshi urg‘u beradigan so‘zni belgilang: For years, though, I refused to dance. / Nobody was watching anyone any more.
- 2 daqiqa. Faqat oxirgi 30 soniyani uch marta qayta gapiring, keyin butun javobni yana yozib, baholarni solishtiring.

Part 3: musiqa va jamiyat haqida 4 savol
Savollar mashq uchun, javob g‘oyalari qisqa.
- Why do older and younger people often like different music? Partly because music is tied to the years when we were teenagers. My parents still love the songs from their school days, just as I will probably love mine.
- Should traditional music be taught in schools? I think so, at least the basics, because otherwise children only hear it at weddings and never understand how it’s made.
- How has streaming changed the way people listen to music? It’s made music almost free and endless, but people skip songs after ten seconds. Listening to a whole album has become rare.
- Why is music so important at celebrations? Because it gets everyone doing the same thing at the same time. Even strangers at a wedding end up clapping together.
Musiqa haqida Part 1 savollari Part 1: music sahifasida. Inglizcha qo‘shiqlarni tinglash orqali til o‘rganish usullari esa qo‘shiqlar orqali ingliz tili sahifasida.

Qo‘shiq hikoyangizni Bandi bilan sinab ko‘ring
BandMate da Bandi bilan ovozli suhbatda sevimli qo‘shig‘ingiz haqida gapirib, talaffuz va urg‘u bo‘yicha izoh olishingiz mumkin. IELTS Speaking mock testida esa kartaga bir daqiqa tayyorlanib, ikki daqiqa gapirasiz va Part 3 savollariga javob berasiz. Bu izohlar mashq uchun, rasmiy IELTS bandi emas.
