Matching information savolida sizga bir nechta ta’rif beriladi va har biri qaysi paragrafda ekanini topasiz. Savol odatda Which paragraph contains the following information? deb boshlanadi. Bu savol turining ikki qiyin tomoni bor: savollar odatda matn tartibida kelmaydi va bitta paragraf bir necha marta ishlatilishi yoki umuman ishlatilmasligi mumkin.
Quyida mashq uchun yozilgan 6 paragraflik matn, 7 ta savol, har bir javobning dalil jumlasi va ishlash tartibi bor. Matn rasmiy IELTS materiali emas.
Matching headings’dan farqi
IELTS’ning rasmiy Reading formati bo‘yicha matching information topshirig‘i paragraf yoki bo‘limlar ichidan aniq ma’lumotni topishni talab qiladi, ba’zi bo‘limlar bir necha marta ishlatilishi yoki umuman ishlatilmasligi mumkin. Test 60 daqiqa, 40 savol.
Ko‘pchilik bu turni matching headings bilan chalkashtiradi. Farqi jiddiy:
| Matching headings | Matching information | |
|---|---|---|
| Nimani izlaysiz | Paragrafning asosiy g‘oyasi | Paragraf ichidagi bitta detal |
| Savol ko‘rinishi | Sarlavha: The origins of… | Ta’rif: an example of…, a reason for… |
| Qancha o‘qish kerak | Butun paragraf | Bitta-ikki jumla |
| Harf qayta ishlatiladimi | Yo‘q, har paragrafga bitta | Ha, bo‘lishi mumkin |
| Ishlatilmaydigan variant | Ortiqcha sarlavhalar | Ba’zi paragraflar |
Savoldagi birinchi so‘z: nimani izlashni aytadi
Matching information savollari ko‘pincha umumiy ot bilan boshlanadi. Bu ot izlanayotgan ma’lumot turini ko‘rsatadi, shuning uchun uni aylana ichiga oling.
| Savol boshlanishi | Matnda nimani izlaysiz |
|---|---|
| an example of… | for instance, such as, aniq nom yoki holat |
| a reason for… | because, since, this is why, due to |
| a description of… | Narsaning qanday ishlashi yoki ko‘rinishi |
| a reference to… | Qisqa eslatma, ba’zan bitta so‘z |
| a warning about… / a criticism of… | however, but, risk, problem, caution |
| a comparison between… | than, whereas, unlike, compared with |
| a group of people who… | customers, older people, residents kabi guruh nomi |
Mashq matni: Why we queue
A Queuing is so ordinary that we rarely think about it. Yet anyone who has tried to buy bread at a busy bazaar stall, where customers simply crowd around the counter, knows that an orderly line is not the only possible arrangement. How people wait, and how they feel about waiting, turns out to be a surprisingly rich area of research.
B One of the best-known findings is that unoccupied time feels longer than occupied time. A frequently told story concerns an office building whose tenants complained that the lifts were too slow. Rather than replacing the lifts, the managers installed mirrors next to them. People began checking their appearance while they waited, and the complaints largely stopped, even though the lifts moved no faster.
C Researchers have also found that people care about fairness at least as much as speed. In a shop with several separate lines, customers watch the neighbouring line and feel cheated if it moves faster. A single long line that feeds several counters may look worse, but it guarantees that nobody who arrived later is served first. For this reason, many customers say they are happy to wait a little longer as long as the order is fair.
D Technology has changed the queue in many places without removing it. In many banks and public service centres, a customer presses a button on a machine at the entrance and receives a printed ticket with a number. They can then sit down, and a screen shows which number will be served next and at which window. The line still exists, but it has become invisible.
E It is tempting to explain differences in queuing behaviour by national character, and popular articles often do so. Researchers are more careful. They point out that the same people may queue patiently at a post office and push forward at a bus stop, depending on how the space is organised and whether the rules are clear. Simple explanations based on culture, they argue, usually hide more than they reveal.
F The next stage may be the virtual queue, in which customers join a line through a mobile app and are told when to return. Some theme parks and clinics already use such systems. They free people from standing in one place, but they also raise a new question: what happens to those without a smartphone, such as many older people, who may find themselves pushed to the back of a line they cannot even see?
Savollar 27–33. Quyidagi ma’lumot qaysi paragrafda (A–F)? Har bir harfni bir martadan ko‘p ishlatishingiz mumkin.
- 27. an example of how a change to a building reduced complaints
- 28. a reason why one shared line may be preferred
- 29. a warning against explaining behaviour too simply
- 30. a group of people who may be disadvantaged by a new system
- 31. a description of a machine that gives customers a number
- 32. a reference to a situation in which there is no line at all
- 33. a mention of people accepting a longer wait if the process seems fair
Ishlash tartibi
- Savollarni birinchi o‘qing va har biridagi ma’lumot turini (misol, sabab, ogohlantirish) aylana ichiga oling.
- Har savolda bitta “ushlagich” so‘z tanlang, matnda sinonimi bilan chiqishi ehtimoli bor so‘z: 27 da building, 30 da group of people, 31 da machine.
- Matnni paragrafma-paragraf o‘qing, savollar ro‘yxatini yoningizda tuting. Har paragrafdan keyin o‘zingizdan so‘rang: “bu yerda ro‘yxatdagi qaysi ma’lumot bor?”
- Topgan javobni dalil bilan belgilang: paragraf chetiga savol raqamini yozing va jumlaning tagiga chizing.
- Qolgan savollarni oxirida qidiring. Bu paytda siz matnni allaqachon bilasiz, qidirish tezlashadi.
Nega avval matnni o‘qish, savol bo‘yicha qidirish emas? Chunki savollar tartibsiz. Har savol uchun butun matnni qayta ko‘zdan kechirsangiz, olti paragrafni yetti marta o‘qiysiz.
Javoblar va dalillar
Avval o‘zingiz yeching.
- 27 — B. The managers installed mirrors next to them… the complaints largely stopped. A change to a building = installed mirrors. Paragraf A da ham bino yo‘q, faqat bozor rastasi.
- 28 — C. A single long line… guarantees that nobody who arrived later is served first. One shared line = a single long line that feeds several counters.
- 29 — E. Simple explanations based on culture… usually hide more than they reveal. Warning so‘zi matnda yo‘q, uning o‘rnida researchers are more careful.
- 30 — F. Those without a smartphone, such as many older people. Guruh nomi va new system (virtual navbat) ikkalasi shu yerda.
- 31 — D. Presses a button on a machine… receives a printed ticket with a number.
- 32 — A. Customers simply crowd around the counter = navbat yo‘q holat. At all so‘zi paragraf F dagi “ko‘rinmas navbat” tuzog‘idan ajratadi: u yerda navbat bor, faqat ko‘rinmaydi.
- 33 — C. Happy to wait a little longer as long as the order is fair. C harfi ikki marta ishlatildi, bu normal holat.
Tuzoqlarga e’tibor bering. 31 da D va F ikkalasida texnologiya bor, lekin machine va number faqat D da. 33 da C ga B ham o‘xshashi mumkin (kutish his-tuyg‘usi), lekin fair faqat C da.
O‘zbek nomzodlarning tipik xatolari
- Birinchi o‘xshash so‘zda to‘xtash. 32-savolda line so‘zini qidirib, F dagi a line they cannot even see ga yozib yuborish. Savoldagi no line at all ma’nosini tekshirmaslik.
- Paragrafni bir marta ishlatish odati. Matching headings’dagi qoidani bu yerga ko‘chirish. C ga ikkinchi javobni yozishdan qo‘rqib, 33 ni boshqa harfga yozish.
- Umumiy otni e’tiborsiz qoldirish. A reason va an example ni farqlamaslik. Bir paragrafda ikkalasi bo‘lishi mumkin, lekin savol bittasini so‘raydi.
- Uzun jumlani to‘liq tarjima qilish. Dalil jumlasini topgach, uni o‘zbekchaga to‘liq o‘girish shart emas. Savoldagi ma’lumot bormi yoki yo‘qmi, shuni tekshiring.
Qo‘shimcha mashq: savolni o‘zingiz tuzing
Yuqoridagi matndan foydalanib, har bir paragraf uchun bittadan yangi savol yozing, faqat savol boshlanishini jadvaldagi boshqa turdan oling. Masalan, D uchun a comparison between… emas, a reference to where the next customer should go (javob: D, at which window). Oltita savol yozsangiz, qaysi turni qiyin topishingiz ma’lum bo‘ladi.
Bu ko‘nikma boshqa Reading savollarida ham kerak: dalil jumlasini topish True/False/Not Given’da ham asosiy qadam. U haqda IELTS Reading True, False, Not Given sahifasida o‘qing. Umumiy vaqt taqsimoti uchun IELTS Reading’da vaqtni boshqarish qo‘llanmasiga qarang.
