Describe a busy day: IELTS Part 2 namuna va soatma-soat qaydlar

Describe a busy day kartasi: imtihon, ish va tungi aeroport bir kunda — 2 daqiqalik namuna, soatlarni aytish, tezlik va urg‘u tekshiruvi, Part 3, mashq.

Qo‘lida papkalar bilan telefonda shoshib gaplashayotgan qiz: band kun haqidagi IELTS kartasi

“Describe a busy day” kartasiga eng oson yo‘l — kunni soatlar bo‘yicha aytib berish: at nine…, by two…, at half past six…. Vaqt belgilari hikoyaga tayyor skelet beradi, sizga esa har bir bosqichga bitta jonli tafsilot qo‘shish qoladi. Javobni kun oxiridagi his bilan yoping: charchoq, lekin nimadandir mamnunlik.

Part 2 formati IELTS.org da yozilgan: karta, qalam va qog‘oz, bir daqiqa tayyorgarlik, ikki daqiqagacha nutq. Kundalik tartib haqidagi qisqa savollar Part 1 da ham keladi, ularni daily routine sahifasida mashq qiling.

Mashq kartasi: juda band bo‘lgan kun

Mashq uchun yozilgan karta; real imtihon kartasi emas.

Describe a day when you were very busy.

You should say:

  • when it was
  • what you had to do
  • how you managed to do everything
  • and explain how you felt at the end of the day.

Yaqin variantlar: a time you had to do many things in a short time, a busy but enjoyable day, a day you had to get up very early. To‘y tayyorgarligi, ko‘chish kuni yoki imtihon mavsumidagi kun ham bu kartaga yaxshi material.

Qaydlar: kunni soatlar bilan yozish

Band kun uchun eng qulay qayd — chap tomonda soat, o‘ngda bir necha so‘z:

  • 09:00 statistics exam; bed at 2, strong tea
  • 13:00 metro → samsa on the train
  • 14:00–18:00 3 kids’ groups back to back, Chilonzor
  • 18:30 phone dead → home, charge, mum’s food
  • 23:40 cousin from Moscow, flight 1 hr late → home 2 a.m.
  • How / feel: paper list, ticking off; exhausted but proud; slept till 11

Qaydda 24 soatlik yozuv qulay, lekin gapirganda uni odatiy shaklga aylantiring: at nine in the morning, twenty to twelve at night.

Namuna javob: imtihon, uchta dars va tungi aeroport

Mashq uchun tuzilgan, ikki daqiqaga yaqin javob. Band 7 atrofidagi nutq namunasi; rasmiy baholangan emas.

The day I’m going to describe was a Thursday last May, and I think it was the busiest day I’d had in years, mainly because three completely separate things landed on the same day.

The first was a statistics exam at nine in the morning. I’m not great at statistics, so I’d been up until two revising, and I got to the university with about four hours’ sleep and two cups of very strong tea inside me.

The second thing was work. I teach English part-time to children at a learning centre in Chilonzor, and on Thursdays I have three groups back to back, from two until six. So the moment the exam finished, I ran to the metro, grabbed a samsa on the way and ate it standing up on the train, which I don’t recommend.

And then the third thing. My cousin was flying in from Moscow that night, and because my dad’s car was at the mechanic’s, I’d promised to meet her at the airport and bring her home in a taxi. Her flight was due at twenty to twelve.

Of course, that was the day my phone died, at about half past six, just as I was leaving work, so I had no way of checking whether her flight was delayed. I went home, charged it for twenty minutes, ate whatever my mum had left for me and headed to the airport. The flight was an hour late, so we didn’t get home until about two in the morning.

How did I manage? Honestly, with a list. I’d written out the whole day on a piece of paper the night before, with times, and I kept ticking things off, which somehow made it feel less chaotic.

By the end I was completely exhausted, but also weirdly proud, because nothing had gone badly wrong. The exam went better than I’d expected, the kids were fine and my cousin was home safe. I slept until eleven on Friday, and nobody dared to wake me up.

Nimaga e’tibor bering: uchta ish the first, the second thing, and then the third thing bilan ajratilgan, shuning uchun tinglovchi adashmaydi. Har bosqichda bitta kichik, hazilomuz tafsilot bor (poyezdda tik turib yeyilgan somsa, o‘chgan telefon). Kartaning “how you managed” bandiga alohida, aniq javob berilgan: qog‘ozdagi ro‘yxat.

Pronunciation ustuni: tezlik va urg‘u ritmi

Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors dagi Pronunciation ustunining band 6 qatorida qiziq bir tafsilot bor: nutq odatda to‘g‘ri bo‘laklarga bo‘linadi, lekin ritmga urg‘u asosidagi vaqt taqsimoti (stress-timing) yetishmasligi yoki juda tez gapirish ta’sir qilishi mumkin. Band 7 da band 6 ning barcha ijobiy belgilari bor va band 8 ning bir qismi, masalan uzun gaplarda ham ritm va urg‘uni ushlab turish, qo‘shiladi.

Band kun haqidagi hikoyada ko‘pchilik beixtiyor tezlashadi: voqealar shoshilinch, nutq ham shoshilinch bo‘lib qoladi. Buni shunday tekshiring.

  1. 2 daqiqa. O‘z band kuningiz haqida gapiring va yozib oling.
  2. 3 daqiqa. Birinchi 30 soniya va oxirgi 30 soniyani so‘zma-so‘z yozing, so‘zlarni sanang. Rasmiy “to‘g‘ri tezlik” yo‘q; maqsad — oxirida boshidagidan ancha tez gapirmaslik.
  3. 2 daqiqa. Vaqt iboralarini alohida tinglang: at NINE in the MORning, from TWO until SIX, twenty to TWELVE. Urg‘uli so‘zlar cho‘ziq va aniq, at, to, the esa qisqa va kuchsiz chiqdimi? O‘zbek nutqida har bo‘g‘in bir xil og‘irlikda aytiladi, ingliz ritmi esa urg‘uli so‘zlarga tayanadi.
  4. 1 daqiqa. Sonlarni tekshiring: thirTEEN va THIRty, fifTEEN va FIFty. Vaqt haqida gapirganda bu farq ma’noni o‘zgartiradi.
  5. 2 daqiqa. Tezlikni ongli ravishda pasaytirib, qayta yozib oling.

Gapdagi urg‘u qanday ishlashi gap urg‘usi sahifasida misollar bilan tushuntirilgan.

Band kun haqida gapirganda: soatlar va “busy with doing”

  • “At 14:00 I went to work.” 24 soatlik shakl gapirganda e’lon kabi eshitiladi. Tabiiyroq: at two in the afternoon yoki at two o’clock.
  • “Half eight.” Britaniyada bu 8:30. Ruschadagi половина восьмого esa 7:30, shuning uchun rus tilida o‘ylaydiganlar bu yerda adashadi. Ishonchsiz bo‘lsangiz: eight thirty.
  • “I was busy with preparing.” Busy dan keyin -ing: I was busy preparing for the exam. With faqat ot bilan: busy with work.
  • “I hadn’t time.” Og‘zaki nutqda: I didn’t have time yoki I had no time.
  • “At the night.” Artiklsiz: at night, lekin in the morning, in the evening.

Part 3: vaqt va bandlik haqida 4 savol

  1. Are people busier today than in the past? In some ways, yes. Phones mean work and study follow us home. But I suspect my grandparents, who worked on a farm, would laugh at the idea that we’re the busy generation.
  2. Is being busy a sign of success? Not necessarily. Some very successful people protect their free time carefully. Being constantly busy can just mean you’re bad at saying no.
  3. How can students manage their time better? Writing the day down is the simplest thing. Seeing everything on paper shows you what’s realistic and what you need to drop.
  4. Should employers do more to stop people overworking? I think so, especially with messages after working hours. A lot of people in offices feel they have to reply at ten at night, even when nothing is urgent.

Vaqtni boshqarish haqidagi Part 1 savollari time management sahifasida, Part 2 kartalariga umumiy yondashuv esa cue card strategiyasi sahifasida.
