IELTS Speaking Part 3 media: yangiliklar bo‘yicha 8 savol va javob

News va media mavzusidagi 8 ta Part 3 savoli: band 6 va band 7+ javoblar, Telegram davridagi misollar, 10 ta ibora tarjimasi bilan va savol turi mashqi.

Qo‘lida mikrofon bilan reportaj qilayotgan jurnalist ayol

Media va yangiliklar haqidagi Part 3 savollari ikki narsani tekshiradi: siz jamiyatdagi o‘zgarishni tushuntira olasizmi va bir tomonlama fikrdan qochib, nozik pozitsiya bildira olasizmi. Eng foydali odat: har javobda “bu kimga foyda, kimga zarar?” deb so‘rash. Masalan, Should social media companies be responsible for fake news? savoliga “ha” deyish yetmaydi; o‘quvchi, platforma va jurnalist nuqtai nazaridan qarasangiz, javob o‘z-o‘zidan uzayadi.

IELTS rasmiy saytida Part 3 fikrlarni tushuntirish, tahlil qilish va taxmin qilish qobiliyatini tekshirishi, 4–5 daqiqa davom etishi yozilgan. Media savollari ko‘pincha Part 2 dagi veb-sayt kartochkasi yoki ijtimoiy tarmoqlar mavzusidan keyin keladi. Quyidagi 8 savol mashq uchun yozilgan; javoblar yonidagi band belgisi esa rasmiy baho emas, tahririyat taxmini.

Taqqoslash: o‘tmish va hozir, yosh va katta avlod

1. How is the way people get news today different from the past?

Band 6:

In the past people watched TV and read newspapers. Now everybody reads news in the phone. It is more fast but sometimes it is not true.

Band 7+:

The main shift is from fixed times to a constant stream. My grandparents used to sit down for the evening news on TV, and that was the day’s information. Now most people I know follow a dozen Telegram channels and get updates every few minutes. That’s obviously faster, but it also means stories are often published before anyone has checked them, so speed has partly replaced accuracy.

Farq: in the phone → on the phone, more fast → faster. Kuchli javob farqni bitta g‘oyaga (fixed times → constant stream) yig‘adi va uning narxini ko‘rsatadi.

2. Do young people and older people trust the same sources of news?

Band 6:

No. Old people trust TV more. Young people trust internet and bloggers. I think young people are more clever with information.

Band 7+:

Generally not. Older people in Uzbekistan tend to trust television and official announcements, partly out of habit. Younger people rely more on bloggers and channels they follow, because those feel closer to their own lives. Interestingly, neither group is automatically better at spotting false information; young people are faster with technology, but they’re also exposed to far more unverified content every day.

Farq: birinchi javob yoshlarni oddiygina maqtaydi. Ikkinchisi ikki guruhning ham zaif tomonini ko‘rsatadi, bu esa fikrni muvozanatli qiladi.

Bashorat: gazeta va sun’iy intellekt

3. Will newspapers disappear in the future?

Band 6:

Yes, I think newspapers will disappear because everyone uses internet. Printing newspapers is expensive and nobody reads them.

Band 7+:

Printed newspapers will probably become rare, but I doubt journalism itself will disappear. People still need someone to investigate, check facts and explain complicated events, and that work costs money whatever format it appears in. What’s likely to change is the business model: more outlets may rely on subscriptions or donations rather than paper sales. Of course, this is only a guess; habits sometimes last longer than we expect.

Farq: kuchli javob “gazeta” (qog‘oz) va “jurnalistika” (kasb)ni ajratadi. Bu Part 3 dagi yaxshi usul: savoldagi tushunchani aniqlashtirish.

4. How might artificial intelligence change the news we read?

Band 6:

AI can write news very fast. Maybe in future journalists will lose their jobs. It is a little dangerous.

Band 7+:

I think AI will mostly speed up routine work, like summarising reports or translating stories between Uzbek, Russian and English. The risk is on the other side: it’s becoming very easy to produce convincing fake photos and articles, so readers will have to be much more careful about where something comes from. In that sense, trusted outlets with a clear name behind them might actually become more valuable, not less.

Farq: “xavfli” deb qo‘yish o‘rniga qaysi ish osonlashishi va qaysi xavf paydo bo‘lishi aniq aytiladi.

Baholash: mas’uliyat va kundalik odat

5. Should social media companies be responsible for false information on their platforms?

Band 6:

Yes, they should. Because there is a lot of fake news on social media. Companies must delete it.

Band 7+:

To some extent, yes. They earn money from people’s attention, so they have a duty to remove content that’s clearly dangerous, such as fake medical advice. But making them responsible for every false post would be unrealistic, and it could push them to delete anything controversial, including honest criticism. A fairer approach might be faster reporting tools and clear labels on disputed posts, combined with better media literacy among users.

Farq: Because there is… alohida gap sifatida xato. Kuchli javobda ikki xavf (yolg‘on va ortiqcha senzura) tarozida tortiladi.

6. Is it important for people to follow the news every day?

Band 6:

Yes, it is important because we must know what happens in the world. But too much news is bad for the mood.

Band 7+:

It’s important to be informed, but I’m not sure it has to be every day. Checking a couple of reliable sources once a day is usually enough to know about things that affect you, like new rules for exams or changes in public transport. Refreshing a news feed every half hour doesn’t make you better informed; it mostly makes you anxious.

Farq: every day so‘ziga e’tibor berilgan: kuchli javob savoldagi bitta so‘zga qo‘shilmay, aniqroq me’yor taklif qiladi.

Sabab-oqibat: yolg‘on xabar va ruhiy holat

7. Why does fake news spread so quickly?

Band 6:

Because people share news without checking. Fake news is usually interesting and shocking, so people send it to friends.

Band 7+:

Mostly because it’s designed to trigger emotion. A message saying that an exam has been cancelled, or that a shop is giving away free phones, makes people feel excited or worried, and they forward it to family chats before thinking. The truth is often boring and takes longer to confirm. On top of that, sharing costs nothing, while checking a story takes effort, so the false version usually has a head start.

Farq: sabab mexanizm sifatida tushuntirilgan: his-hayajon → tez ulashish → tekshirish kechikadi.

8. What effect does constant news have on people’s mental health?

Band 6:

It can make people stressed. When you read bad news all the time you feel bad. Some people cannot sleep.

Band 7+:

For many people it creates a kind of background anxiety. Bad news gets more clicks, so feeds are full of accidents and conflicts, and if you scroll through them late at night, it’s hard to switch off. I’ve noticed it in myself during exam season. That said, the effect depends on the person; some people feel calmer when they know what’s going on, so the problem is really the quantity, not the news itself.

Farq: shaxsiy kuzatish bitta gapda, keyin umumiy xulosa. Cheklov (depends on the person) javobni bir tomonlama bo‘lishdan saqlaydi.

Javobni uzaytirish: kim yutadi, kim yutqazadi?

Media savollarida deyarli har doim uch tomon bor: auditoriya (o‘quvchi, tomoshabin), media (jurnalist, kanal, platforma) va jamiyat (qonun, maktab, oila). Birinchi gapda fikringizni ayting, keyin ikki tomonni bittadan gap bilan qo‘shing:

  1. Fikr: I think short video news is mostly a positive trend.
  2. Auditoriya: Viewers get the main point in a minute, which suits busy people.
  3. Media: But serious reporters struggle, because a detailed investigation doesn’t fit into sixty seconds.
  4. Xulosa: So it works for quick updates, not for understanding complex issues.

Mavhum savollarda qotib qolsangiz, abstrakt savollarga javob berish sahifasidagi usullar yordam beradi. Reklama va media bir-biriga yaqin mavzu, shuning uchun Part 3 advertising savollarini ham ko‘rib chiqing.

“News” va “information” bilan bog‘liq xatolar

  • The news are bad. → The news is bad. News sanalmaydi va birlikda keladi.
  • I read a news. → I read a news story / a piece of news.
  • informations → information. Ko‘plik shakli yo‘q.
  • in Telegram, in internet → on Telegram, on the internet.
  • Mass media say… har gapda takrorlanmasin. The press, news outlets, journalists bilan almashtiring.

Mashq: savol turini aniqlang

Har bir savol qaysi turga kiradi: Taqqoslash (T), Bashorat (B), Baholash (Bh) yoki Sabab-oqibat (S)?

  • 1. Why do people believe rumours more than official statements?
  • 2. Should children be allowed to watch the news?
  • 3. How is radio different from podcasts?
  • 4. Will people still pay for news in twenty years?
  • 5. What happens to a society when people stop trusting journalists?
  • 6. Is it right for celebrities to share their political views online?
  • 7. How has television changed since your parents were young?
  • 8. Do you think news will become more personalised in the future?

Javoblar

1 — S; 2 — Bh; 3 — T; 4 — B; 5 — S (oqibat); 6 — Bh; 7 — T; 8 — B. Endi 2 va 5-savolga “kim yutadi, kim yutqazadi” usuli bilan 40 soniyadan javob bering.

Media savollarini gapirib mashq qilish

BandMate ilovasida Bandi bilan yangiliklar va ijtimoiy tarmoqlar haqida ovozli suhbat qilishingiz mumkin. U javobingizdagi fikrni ushlab olib, Part 3 dagidek “nega?” va “hamma uchun shundaymi?” degan savollar beradi, grammatik xatolarni ko‘rsatadi. AI izohi mashq uchun, rasmiy band emas. Ijtimoiy tarmoq haqidagi oddiyroq savollardan boshlamoqchi bo‘lsangiz, Part 1 social media sahifasi mos.
