IELTS Speaking Part 3 advertising: reklama bo‘yicha 8 savol

Advertising mavzusidagi 8 ta Part 3 savoli: band 6 va 7+ javoblar, bloger va billbord misollari, 10 ta ibora tarjimasi bilan va gap tartibi mashqi.

Qo‘lida qizil kartochka ushlab, barmog‘ini shiqillatib yangi g‘oya topgan ayol

Reklama haqidagi Part 3 savollari deyarli har doim bahsli: bolalarga reklamani taqiqlash kerakmi, blogerlarga ishonsa bo‘ladimi, reklama foydalimi yoki zararli? Bunday savolda eng kuchli harakat — qarshi fikrni avval tan olib, keyin nega baribir o‘z pozitsiyangizda qolishingizni tushuntirish. Ingliz tilida bu concession and rebuttal deyiladi: Admittedly…, but…. Shu bitta qolip reklama mavzusidagi deyarli har bir javobni muvozanatli qiladi.

Rasmiy formatda Part 3 fikrlarni tushuntirish, muhokama qilish va taxmin qilish qobiliyatini tekshiradi va taxminan 4–5 daqiqa davom etadi. Reklama savollari ko‘pincha xarid yoki ilova haqidagi Part 2 kartochkasidan keyin keladi. Quyidagi 8 savol mashq uchun tuzilgan. Band 6 va band 7+ belgilari tahririyatning taxmini, rasmiy baho emas.

Taqqoslash savollari

1. How is advertising today different from advertising twenty years ago?

Band 6:

Twenty years ago there were adverts on TV and on the street. Now there are adverts everywhere on the internet. They are more personal now.

Band 7+:

The biggest difference is targeting. Twenty years ago everyone driving down the same street saw the same billboard. Now two people scrolling the same app see completely different adverts, based on what they searched for yesterday. That makes advertising more efficient for companies, but it also feels more intrusive, because it follows you from one app to another.

Farq: birinchi javobda to‘g‘ri kuzatish bor (more personal), lekin u tushuntirilmagan. Ikkinchisi uni targeting deb nomlaydi va oqibatini aytadi.

2. Are adverts from influencers more effective than traditional adverts?

Band 6:

Yes, because people trust bloggers more than TV. Bloggers are like friends. So people buy what they recommend.

Band 7+:

For young audiences, usually yes, because an influencer’s recommendation feels like advice from a friend rather than a company. In Uzbekistan you can see this with Instagram and Telegram bloggers promoting cafés, clothes or even language courses. The weakness is that the trust can disappear quickly. Once followers notice someone advertising anything that pays, including dubious products, the recommendation loses its value.

Farq: kuchli javob auditoriyani chegaralaydi (for young audiences) va ta’sir qachon yo‘qolishini ko‘rsatadi.

Bashorat savollari

3. Will people trust advertising more or less in the future?

Band 6:

I think less, because there are many fake adverts. People understand that adverts are lying.

Band 7+:

Probably less, at least in general. As AI makes it easy to create perfect-looking photos and fake reviews, people will become more sceptical of anything that looks too good. But I think trust will shift rather than disappear: people will rely more on reviews from real customers, friends’ opinions and brands that have been honest with them over time. So reputation will matter more than the advert itself.

Farq: adverts are lying umumlashma. Kuchli javob ishonch qayerga ko‘chishini bashorat qiladi.

4. Do you think there will be more limits on advertising in public places?

Band 6:

Maybe yes. There are too many billboards in the city and it looks ugly. The government can make rules.

Band 7+:

I suspect so, especially in historic areas. Cities that depend on tourism, like Samarkand or Bukhara, have a strong reason to keep huge billboards away from their old centres. In ordinary business districts, though, I doubt there’ll be big changes, because outdoor advertising brings money to the city. So we’ll probably see stricter rules in some zones rather than a general ban.

Farq: bashorat joyga qarab farqlanadi: tarixiy markaz va oddiy tuman.

Baholash savollari

5. Should advertising aimed at children be banned?

Band 6:

Yes, I think it should be banned. Children cannot understand that adverts want their money. They ask parents to buy toys and sweets.

Band 7+:

Admittedly, a complete ban would be hard to enforce, especially online, where children watch the same videos as adults. But I still think strict limits are justified, particularly for junk food and mobile games that push in-app purchases. Young children simply can’t tell the difference between entertainment and a sales pitch. A realistic step would be to ban adverts inside children’s programmes and apps, while teaching kids at school how advertising works.

Farq: ikkinchi javob qarshi dalilni tan oladi (Admittedly…), keyin pozitsiyani saqlab qoladi va aniq chora taklif qiladi.

6. Is advertising more useful or harmful to consumers?

Band 6:

It is useful because we learn about new products. But it is also harmful because people buy things they don’t need.

Band 7+:

On balance I’d say it’s useful, but only when it gives real information. An advert telling me that a new metro-side supermarket has opened, or comparing phone tariffs, helps me decide. The harmful kind is the advert that sells a feeling instead of a product: the idea that you’ll be happier or more successful if you buy something. So the problem isn’t advertising itself, but how emotional and misleading it’s allowed to be.

Farq: On balance bilan aniq xulosa. “Foydali” va “zararli” reklamaning farqi mezon bilan ajratilgan.

Sabab-oqibat savollari

7. Why are some adverts so memorable?

Band 6:

Because they have a nice song or a funny story. People remember songs very easily.

Band 7+:

Mostly because they make you feel something before they sell anything. A funny story, a catchy tune or an emotional scene about family gets past the part of your brain that’s thinking “this is an advert”. Repetition helps too: if you hear the same jingle every morning in a taxi, you’ll be humming it by the end of the week, whether you like the product or not.

Farq: kuchli javob sababning mexanizmini tushuntiradi va kundalik misol (in a taxi) qo‘shadi.

8. How does advertising affect people’s self-image?

Band 6:

Adverts show beautiful people, so normal people feel bad about themselves. Especially teenagers.

Band 7+:

It can quietly lower it. Adverts for beauty products or fitness programmes usually show edited, flawless faces and bodies, and after seeing hundreds of them, ordinary appearances start to look like a problem to fix. Teenagers are the most affected, because they’re still forming their identity. To be fair, some brands now use more realistic models, which suggests that audiences are starting to push back.

Farq: To be fair bilan boshlangan so‘nggi gap javobni bir tomonlama bo‘lishdan saqlaydi.

Javobni uzaytirish: tan olish va rad etish

Bu qolip reklama kabi bahsli mavzularda javobingizni “yarim ha, yarim yo‘q” holatdan qutqaradi. To‘rt gap:

  1. Pozitsiya: I think influencers should always say when a post is paid.
  2. Tan olish: Admittedly, it may make their posts look less natural.
  3. Rad etish: But followers have a right to know when someone is being paid to praise a product.
  4. Xulosa: That’s why a clear “ad” label is fair to both sides.

Tan olish uchun: Admittedly / Of course / It’s true that… / I accept that…. Rad etish uchun: But / Even so / Still / That doesn’t mean…. Afzallik va kamchiliklarni tortish Writing Task 2 da ham kerak: advantages and disadvantages essay sahifasida shu mantiq yozma shaklda.

  • The company made advertising. → The company advertised / ran an ad campaign.
  • I saw a reklama. → I saw an advert. Ruscha va o‘zbekcha so‘z inglizchaga o‘tmaydi.
  • The ads says… → The ad says… / The ads say… Ega-kesim moslashuvi.

Mashq: gaplarni to‘g‘ri tartibga qo‘ying

A. Savol: Should billboards be removed from city centres?

  • a. But in historic areas they spoil views that tourists come to see.
  • b. So I’d remove them from the old centre but allow them elsewhere.
  • c. I’d support removing them, at least partly.
  • d. Admittedly, billboards bring money to the city budget.

B. Savol: Do adverts help people make better choices?

  • e. Still, most adverts are designed to create a feeling, not to inform.
  • f. So they help only if you already know what you’re looking for.
  • g. Only sometimes, in my view.
  • h. It’s true that comparison adverts can show useful prices.

Javoblar

A: c → d → a → b. B: g → h → e → f. Har ikkisida tartib bir xil: pozitsiya, tan olish, rad etish, xulosa. Agar tan olishni birinchi qo‘ygan bo‘lsangiz, javob noaniq boshlanadi; avval pozitsiyani ayting.

Reklama savollarini Bandi bilan gapirib ko‘rish

BandMate ilovasida Bandi bilan reklama, blogerlar va xarid odatlari haqida suhbatlashib, “tan olish + rad etish” qolipini ovoz chiqarib sinaysiz. Bandi fikringizga qarshi savol berib, pozitsiyangizni himoya qilishga majbur qiladi va xatolarni ko‘rsatadi; bu mashq yordami, rasmiy band emas. Reklamaga yaqin ikki mavzu: Part 3 media va Part 3 consumerism.
