IELTS Writing coherence and cohesion: bog‘lovchilardan ko‘proq

Coherence va cohesion farqi, zaif va tuzatilgan paragraf, bog‘lanish vositalari belgilangan 270 so‘zlik namuna esse, linker xatolari va mashq.

Esse paragrafidagi gaplar strelkalar bilan bog‘langan, this va such kabi ishora so‘zlari belgilangan sahifa

Coherence and cohesion IELTS Writing’ning to‘rt baholash mezonidan biri. Coherence — fikrlaringiz mantiqiy tartibda, har paragraf bitta markaziy g‘oya atrofida qurilganmi degan savol. Cohesion — gaplar va paragraflar til vositalari bilan qanday bog‘langan: ishora so‘zlari (this, these, such), almashtirish, so‘z zanjirlari va bog‘lovchilar. Ko‘p o‘quvchi faqat Moreover, Furthermore qo‘shadi; bu sahifa esa zaif va tuzatilgan paragrafni, bog‘lanish vositalari belgilangan to‘liq namuna esseni va javobli mashqni ko‘rsatadi.

Mezon haqida rasmiy ma’lumot

IELTS baholash sahifasiga ko‘ra, Writing’ning ikkala topshirig‘i to‘rt mezon bilan baholanadi: Task Achievement yoki Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy. Mezonlar teng og‘irlikka ega, ya’ni coherence and cohesion topshiriq bahosining to‘rtdan birini tashkil qiladi. Har band darajasining aniq tavsifi shu sahifadagi Writing band descriptors PDF faylida. Umumiy format rasmiy Writing sahifasida.

Band descriptors’da bu mezon ma’lumotning mantiqiy tashkil etilishi, paragraflardan foydalanish va bog‘lovchi vositalarning mos ishlatilishi atrofida quriladi. Demak, bog‘lovchi so‘zlar soni emas, ularning to‘g‘ri va o‘rinli ishlatilishi muhim.

Coherence rejadan boshlanadi. Paragrafning birinchi gapi uning g‘oyasini aytsa (topic sentence), qolgan gaplar shu g‘oyani sabab, tushuntirish va misol bilan rivojlantirsa, matn o‘z-o‘zidan mantiqiy bo‘ladi.

Cohesion’ning to‘rt vositasi

  1. Ishora (reference): oldingi g‘oyaga this, these, it, they, such bilan qaytish. Many families cannot afford a laptop. For these families, a library is essential.
  2. Almashtirish (substitution): so‘zni takrorlamaslik uchun one, those, do so ishlatish. The gap between people who are connected and those who are not…
  3. So‘z zanjiri (lexical chain): bitta mavzuni sinonimlar bilan davom ettirish: library → public space → reading room → the service.
  4. Bog‘lovchilar (linking words): however, therefore, for example, in addition. Ular foydali, lekin faqat munosabatni aniq ko‘rsatish kerak bo‘lganda.

Birinchi uch vosita ko‘pincha bog‘lovchidan ko‘ra kuchliroq bo‘ladi, chunki ular gaplarni mazmun orqali bog‘laydi.

Zaif va tuzatilgan paragraf

Zaif variant:

Firstly, internet is very popular. Moreover, people can find information on the internet. Furthermore, libraries are expensive. Moreover, many people do not have the internet at home. In conclusion, libraries are important.

Muammolar: har gap bog‘lovchi bilan boshlanadi, lekin gaplar orasida mantiqiy munosabat yo‘q. Moreover qo‘shimcha dalilni bildiradi, ammo to‘rtinchi gap oldingisiga qarshi fikr. In conclusion paragraf ichida noto‘g‘ri. Paragrafning markaziy g‘oyasi ham noaniq: internet haqidami, kutubxona narxi haqidami?

Tuzatilgan variant:

Free information online is not the same as equal access to it. Many families cannot afford a laptop or a reliable internet connection, and older people often lack the skills to use digital services. For these groups, a library is the only place where they can use a computer or get help from a trained librarian. Without such a service, the gap between people who are connected and those who are not would grow wider.

Bu yerda faqat bitta aniq bog‘lovchi bor, lekin gaplar mahkam bog‘langan: these groups ikkinchi gapdagi oilalar va keksalarga ishora qiladi, such a service uchinchi gapni umumlashtiradi, those who are not esa people so‘zini takrorlamaydi.

Mashq savoli va paragraf rejasi

Mashq topshirig‘i (rasmiy savol emas): Some people think that public libraries are no longer necessary because most information is now available online. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Bu “to what extent do you agree” turidagi savol; uning umumiy tuzilishi opinion essay qo‘llanmasida. Bu yerda esa e’tibor paragraflar ichidagi va orasidagi bog‘lanishda.

Namuna esse (mashq uchun, taxminan 270 so‘z)

Bog‘lanish vositalari qalin shriftda belgilangan.

It is sometimes claimed that public libraries have become unnecessary now that so much information can be found online. While I accept that the role of libraries has changed, I disagree that they are no longer needed.

It is true that the internet has replaced some of the traditional functions of a library. Students who once spent hours searching printed encyclopedias can now find articles and even whole books on their phones in seconds. This convenience means that fewer people visit libraries simply to look something up, and it is understandable that some local authorities question the cost of keeping them open.

However, free information online is not the same as equal access to it. Many families cannot afford a laptop or a reliable internet connection, and older people often lack the skills to use digital services. For these groups, a library is the only place where they can use a computer or get help from a trained librarian. Without such a service, the gap between people who are connected and those who are not would grow wider.

Libraries also offer something the internet cannot: a quiet public space. In crowded cities, where many students share a room with siblings, a library may be the only place where they can concentrate for several hours. This is particularly valuable during exam periods.

In conclusion, although online resources have reduced the need for libraries as sources of reference information, libraries remain essential as places of equal access and quiet study. I therefore believe that they should be kept and adapted rather than closed.

Namunaga izohlar

  • Har paragrafda bitta g‘oya. Body 1 — internet nimani egallagani, Body 2 — teng imkoniyat, Body 3 — tinch joy. Birinchi gap har doim paragrafning g‘oyasini aytadi.
  • Bog‘lovchilar kam, lekin aniq. Butun essedagi paragraflar orasida faqat However, also va In conclusion ishlatilgan. Qolgan bog‘lanishni ishora so‘zlari bajaradi.
  • This + ot. This convenience yakka this dan aniqroq: o‘quvchi nimaga ishora qilinayotganini darhol tushunadi. Body 3’dagi yakka This oldingi gapning butun g‘oyasiga ishora qiladi va u yerda noaniqlik yo‘q.
  • Olmoshlarni tekshirish. Xulosada although online resources have reduced…, they remain essential deb yozilsa, they internet resurslariga ham tegishli bo‘lib qolardi. Shuning uchun libraries so‘zi takrorlangan: ba’zan takror aniqlik uchun kerak.
  • Qarshi fikrdan o‘tish. Body 1 qarshi fikrni tan oladi (It is true that…), Body 2 esa However bilan pozitsiyaga qaytadi. Bu klassik va ishonchli tuzilma.

Paragraflash ham shu mezonga kiradi. Bitta gapli paragraflar yoki umuman paragrafsiz uzun matn g‘oyalar chegarasini ko‘rsatmaydi. Task 2 uchun odatda to‘rt–besh paragraf yetarli: kirish, ikki–uch body, xulosa.

Mashq: takrorni ishora bilan almashtiring

Har juftlikda qalin so‘zlarni this, these, such, those, they, one yoki this + ot bilan almashtiring.

  1. Many young people move to Tashkent for work. Young people who move to Tashkent often share flats.
  2. Some schools ban phones in class. Banning phones in class helps students concentrate.
  3. The new metro line is faster than the old metro line.
  4. Online courses are cheap and flexible. Cheap and flexible courses attract working adults.
  5. Students who revise regularly do better than students who study only before exams.

Javoblar:

  • 1 — They often share flats. (yoki These young people)
  • 2 — This rule helps students concentrate. (this + ot: aniqroq)
  • 3 — …faster than the old one.
  • 4 — Such courses attract working adults.
  • 5 — …better than those who study only before exams.

Mustaqil mashq

Mashq topshirig‘i (rasmiy savol emas): In many countries, young people are leaving rural areas to find work in cities. What problems does this cause, and what can be done to solve them?

Rejadan boshlang: har paragraf uchun bitta markaziy gap yozing. So‘ng esseni yozib, uchta tekshiruvdan o‘tkazing:

  1. Har paragrafning birinchi gapini ketma-ket o‘qing. Faqat shu gaplardan esse mazmuni tushunarli bo‘lsa, coherence yaxshi.
  2. Barcha this, it, they so‘zlariga strelka chizing: har biri aniq bir otga ishora qiladimi?
  3. Bog‘lovchilarni sanang. Har gap bog‘lovchi bilan boshlansa, yarmini olib tashlang va o‘rniga ishora so‘zlarini qo‘ying.

Muammo va yechim esselarining tuzilishi haqida problem–solution essay sahifasida o‘qing. Oxirgi tekshiruv uchun proofreading checklist ham foydali.
