Maqsad haqidagi kartada “I want to be successful” yoki “I want to get a good job” degan javob 20 soniyada tugaydi. Ikki daqiqaga yetadigan maqsadning uchta belgisi bor: u o‘lchanadi (21 kilometr, 300 ta so‘z, bitta ilova), unga yo‘l allaqachon boshlangan va yo‘lda aniq qiyinchilik bor. Shu uchtasini gapirsangiz, kartaning har bir bandi o‘z-o‘zidan to‘ladi.
Bu kartada kelasi zamon shakllari (I’m hoping to, I’m going to, by next spring) va bog‘lovchilar ayniqsa ko‘p kerak bo‘ladi, chunki siz hozirgi holatdan kelajakka ko‘prik qurasiz.
Mashq kartasi: erishmoqchi bo‘lgan maqsad
Tahririyat tuzgan mashq kartasi; rasmiy IELTS materiali emas.
Describe a goal you want to achieve in the future.
You should say:
- what the goal is
- when you set it
- how you plan to achieve it
- and explain why it is important to you.
IELTS.org tavsifi bo‘yicha Part 2 tayyorlanish vaqti bilan birga 3–4 daqiqa davom etadi: bir daqiqa qaydlar, 2 daqiqa nutq, ba’zan bir-ikki qo‘shimcha savol.
Qaydlar: “hozir → reja → to‘siq → nega” zanjiri
Maqsad kartasining qaydlari to‘rt bo‘g‘indan iborat bo‘lsa, gapirayotganda qayerda turganingizni doim bilasiz.
- Goal: half-marathon, 21 km, next spring, Tashkent
- Start: junior developer, 9 h sitting; out of breath on stairs (4th floor) → wake-up call, a year ago
- Plan: friend Jasur; 3 runs/week; Sunday long run by Anhor canal, +1 km weekly; now 12 km
- Obstacle: January mornings, dark + cold; rule: who cancels buys breakfast
- Why: 1st goal I chose myself (not parents/exams); proof I can stick to something
Ko‘rib turganingizdek, “Why” qatori ikkinchi eng uzun qator. Nega degan savolga bitta so‘z (health) bilan javob bersangiz, oxirgi 30 soniya bo‘sh qoladi.
Namuna javob: yarim marafon
Mashq namunasi, ikki daqiqaga yaqin. U band 7 atrofidagi nutqqa misol sifatida yozilgan, imtihonchi bahosi emas.
Candidate: The goal I’d like to talk about is running a half-marathon, which is just over twenty-one kilometres, and I’m hoping to do it next spring here in Tashkent.
To give you some background, I work as a junior developer, so I spend around nine hours a day sitting in front of a screen. About a year ago I noticed I was getting out of breath just climbing the stairs to our office on the fourth floor, and that was a bit of a wake-up call. So I took up running, and honestly, the first few weeks were miserable. I couldn’t run for more than five minutes without stopping.
What changed things was a friend of mine, Jasur, who’s been running for years. He suggested a simple plan: three runs a week, two short ones before work and a long one on Sunday morning along the Anhor canal, when the streets are still quiet. Every week the Sunday run gets a kilometre longer. At the moment I can manage about twelve kilometres, so I’m roughly halfway there.
The hardest part isn’t physical, actually. It’s the mornings in January, when it’s dark and freezing and my bed feels like the best place in the world. What helps is a rule Jasur and I made: whoever cancels has to buy breakfast for the other one.
As for why it matters, I think it’s because this is the first goal I’ve chosen completely by myself. At school and university my targets were mostly set by my parents or by exams, whereas nobody is making me run. If I finish that race, even slowly, it’ll prove to me that I can stick to something for a whole year, and I suspect that will help me in other areas too, like my career.
Fluency and coherence ustunini tekshirish: bog‘lovchilar xaritasi
Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning birinchi ustuni Fluency and coherence. Band 7 qatorida nutq belgilari (discourse markers), bog‘lovchilar va bog‘lash vositalarining moslashuvchan ishlatilishi tilga olinadi. Band 6 da ular turli-tuman, lekin har doim ham o‘rinli emas; band 5 da esa ayrimlari haddan tashqari ko‘p takrorlanadi. Demak, gap bog‘lovchilar sonida emas, xilma-xilligi va o‘rnida.
Namunadagi bog‘lovchilar: To give you some background, so, and that was, What changed things was, At the moment, actually, What helps is, As for why, whereas, If…, and I suspect. Bittasi ham ikki marta takrorlanmagan.
O‘zingizni shunday tekshiring:
- 1 daqiqa. O‘z maqsadingiz bo‘yicha to‘rt bo‘g‘inli qaydlar yozing.
- 2 daqiqa. Taymer bilan gapiring va yozib oling.
- 3 daqiqa. Tinglab, har bir bog‘lovchi va nutq belgisini qog‘ozga yozing. Takrorlanganlarini chiziqcha bilan sanang: and then ||||, also |||.
- 2 daqiqa. Birinchi va ikkinchi daqiqani solishtiring. Ko‘p o‘quvchilarda birinchi daqiqa rejali, ikkinchisida esa faqat and… and… also… qoladi. Shunday bo‘lsa, “Why” qismi uchun ikkita tayyor ochuvchi tanlang: As for why… va The main reason, though, is…
- 2 daqiqa. Uch martadan ko‘p takrorlangan bog‘lovchi o‘rniga ikki xil muqobil qo‘yib, qaytadan gapiring.
Javobni mantiqiy bog‘lash usullari coherence: javobni bog‘lash sahifasida batafsil.

Part 3: maqsad va muvaffaqiyat haqida 4 savol
Mashq uchun Part 3 savollari va qisqa javob g‘oyalari.
- Is it important for young people to set goals? Yes, but they should be their own. A goal chosen by your parents can get you through an exam, but it rarely keeps you going for years.
- Why do so many people give up on their New Year resolutions? Usually because the goal is too vague. “Get fit” is easy to drop; “run three times a week” is much harder to ignore.
- Is it better to tell others about your goals or keep them private? Telling one reliable person helps, because they hold you accountable. Posting it for everyone, though, can give you the satisfaction before you’ve done anything.
- Do schools in your country teach children how to plan? Not directly. Students learn to prepare for exams, but not how to break a big goal into weekly steps.
Maqsad haqida gapirganda: to, by va “in future”
- “My goal is become a programmer.” Is dan keyin to kerak: My goal is to become… Yoki -ing: My goal is becoming… (kamroq ishlatiladi).
- “I want to finish until spring.” O‘zbekcha “bahorgacha” ikki xil tarjima qilinadi. Muddat oxirigacha tugatish: by spring. Shu vaqtgacha davom etish: until spring (I’ll keep training until spring).
- “In future I will…” Britaniyacha in future “bundan buyon” degan ma’noni beradi. Kelajak haqida gapirsangiz: in the future.
- “I will achieve my dream.” Tushunarli, lekin tabiiyroq: make my dream come true yoki achieve my goal.
- Hamma joyda will. Reja va niyat uchun ko‘pincha I’m going to yoki I’m hoping to yaxshiroq eshitiladi. Farqi future simple va going to sahifasida.
