Quvonchli voqea kartasida happy so‘zini takrorlash emas, quvonchni ko‘rsatish kerak: odamlar nima qildi, kim nima dedi, sizning tanangizda nima bo‘ldi. “Onam juda xursand bo‘ldi” o‘rniga “onam unga tikilib qoldi-da, yerga o‘tirib qoldi” deng. Voqeani tanlashda katta bayramdan ko‘ra bitta kichik, lekin kutilmagan lahzani tanlang: unda tafsilotlar ko‘proq bo‘ladi.
Bu sahifada namuna uchun ko‘p oilalarga tanish voqea olingan: chet elda ishlagan akaning uyga qaytishi. To‘y yoki bayram kabi rejalashtirilgan tadbirlar haqidagi kartalar uchun event cue card sahifasi mos keladi.
Karta: quvonchli voqea (mashq varianti)
Karta BandMate tahririyati tomonidan mashq uchun yozilgan, imtihondagi haqiqiy karta emas.
Describe a happy event in your life.
You should say:
- what the event was
- when and where it happened
- who was there
- and explain why it made you so happy.
IELTS.org da yozilishicha, Part 2 tayyorgarlik bilan birga 3–4 daqiqa oladi: bir daqiqalik qayd, keyin taxminan ikki daqiqalik nutq. Imtihonchi oxirida shu mavzuda bir-ikki qisqa savol berishi mumkin.
Qaydlar: fon, sir, uchrashuv, reaksiya
Quvonch hikoyasi fonsiz ishlamaydi: tinglovchi avval nimaning yetishmaganini bilishi kerak. Shuning uchun qaydning ikkinchi qatori “oldin qanday edi” haqida.
- What/when: brother Sardor home from S. Korea after 3 yrs, last spring
- Before: left when I was 15; factory contract; money → extra floor; weekend video calls, mum quiet after
- Secret: he told only me, 4 weeks; harder than any exam
- Airport: 5 a.m., “going to the gym”, uncle drove; thinner, new haircut; long silent hug
- Home: mum making breakfast → stared → sat on the floor; dad → yard, red eyes
- Why: family complete again; empty place at the table; neighbours with bread & sweets
Namuna javob: akam Koreyadan qaytgan tong
Mashq uchun yozilgan namuna, gapirilganda ikki daqiqaga yaqin. Band 7 atrofidagi javobga misol; rasmiy baho emas.
The happiest event I can think of from the last few years is the day my older brother, Sardor, came home after three years of working in South Korea.
He went there when I was fifteen, on a contract at a car parts factory, and the plan was that he would send money home to help build an extra floor on our house. We talked on video calls almost every weekend, but it’s not the same, and my mother was always a bit quiet after those calls.
A month before he came back, he messaged me secretly to say he’d managed to finish his contract early. He wanted it to be a surprise for our mum, so I was the only one who knew. Keeping that secret for four weeks was honestly harder than any exam.
His flight landed at about five in the morning, so I told my parents I was going to the gym and went to the airport with my uncle. When he came out into the arrivals hall, I almost didn’t recognise him: he’d lost weight and had a completely different haircut. We just hugged for a long time without saying anything.
When we got home, my mother was in the kitchen making breakfast. Sardor walked in and simply said, “Assalomu alaykum, Mum.” She turned round, stared at him, and then sat down on the floor, which I’d never seen her do. My father, who never shows his feelings, went out into the yard, and later I noticed his eyes were red.
By lunchtime half the mahalla had heard the news, and neighbours kept dropping by with bread and sweets, so the house was full until late at night.
It made me so happy because our family felt complete again. For three years there had been an empty place at the table, and suddenly it was filled.
Quvonch haqida gapirganda: excited, hug va “meet from the airport”
- “I was very exciting.” -ing sifat sababni bildiradi (an exciting day), -ed sifat esa odamning holatini (I was excited). Farq bored va boring sahifasida batafsil.
- “We hugged with him.” Hug dan keyin with kerak emas: I hugged him yoki we hugged.
- “I met him from the airport.” Tabiiy variantlar: I met him at the airport yoki I picked him up from the airport.
- “He returned back.” Return ning o‘zida “qaytmoq” bor: he returned yoki he came back.
- “I was very happy” besh marta. Bir marta yetadi. Qolganlarida reaksiyani ayting yoki ibora ishlating: I was over the moon, I couldn’t stop smiling.
- Uzoq muhojirlik tafsilotlari. Maosh, viza yoki qonun haqida aniq raqamlar aytmang; hikoya ish haqida emas, qaytish haqida.

Boshqa his-tuyg‘u so‘zlari (relieved, proud, grateful) his-tuyg‘ular inglizcha sahifasida misollar bilan.
Pronunciation ustunini tekshirish: -ed bilan tugaydigan his so‘zlari
Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning Pronunciation ustunida band 6 uchun alohida so‘z yoki tovushlar noto‘g‘ri aytilishi mumkinligi, ammo bu faqat ba’zan tushunishni qiyinlashtirishi aytilgan. Band 8 da nomzod butun nutq davomida oson tushuniladi. Band 7 ikkalasining o‘rtasida: band 6 ning barcha ijobiy belgilari va band 8 ning bir qismi.
Quvonch hikoyasida -ed bilan tugaydigan sifatlar ko‘p: surprised, shocked, relieved, excited. O‘zbek o‘quvchilari ikki xil xato qiladi: -ed ni alohida bo‘g‘in qilib aytadi (“shok-ed”) yoki umuman tashlab yuboradi (“I was surprise”). Ikkalasi ham so‘zni noaniq qiladi.
| So‘z | Oxiri qanday eshitiladi | Qoida |
|---|---|---|
| shocked, stressed | /t/ | jarangsiz tovushdan keyin (k, s, sh, ch, p, f) |
| relieved, surprised, amazed | /d/ | jarangli tovush yoki unlidan keyin |
| excited, delighted, exhausted | /ɪd/ | faqat t yoki d dan keyin qo‘shimcha bo‘g‘in |
Tekshiruv tartibi (taxminan 12 daqiqa):
- 2 daqiqa. Qaydlaringizdagi barcha -ed sifat va fe’llarni alohida yozing va har birining yoniga /t/, /d/ yoki /ɪd/ belgisini qo‘ying.
- 2 daqiqa. Voqeangizni taymer bilan gapirib, yozib oling.
- 3 daqiqa. Faqat shu so‘zlarni tinglang. Har biri uchun belgi: ✓ to‘g‘ri, + ortiqcha bo‘g‘in qo‘shilgan, – oxiri yo‘qolgan.
- 3 daqiqa. Xato so‘zlarni qisqa ibora ichida besh martadan ayting: I was shocked. / She looked relieved. Oxirgi tovushni keyingi so‘zga ulang: shocked‿at, relieved‿and.
- 2 daqiqa. Qayta yozib oling va belgilarni solishtiring.
Qoidaning to‘liq izohi va ko‘proq misollar -ed qo‘shimchasi talaffuzi sahifasida.

Part 3: quvonch, oila va jamiyat haqida 4 savol
Mashq savollari; javob g‘oyalari qisqartirilgan.
- Do people in your country share good news with their neighbours? Very much. In a mahalla news travels in an hour, and people still bring bread or sweets. Social media has made it even faster.
- Is happiness more about big events or small everyday things? Big events are what we remember, but I think daily things, like a family dinner, keep us happy between them.
- How does working abroad affect families? It brings money for houses and education, but children can grow up without a parent at home. Video calls help, but they don’t replace being there.
- Should people celebrate personal success publicly? A little, yes, because it motivates others. But constant posting can look like showing off.
Oila haqidagi boshqa Part 3 savollari Part 3: family sahifasida.
