“Describe a teacher” kartasida kind, clever, helpful degan sifatlar hech narsani isbotlamaydi. Ustoz qanday odam ekanini bitta odati (she never smiled for the first month), bitta aniq voqea va u sizda qoldirgan iz orqali ko‘rsating. Eng yaxshi tanlov — “ideal” o‘qituvchi emas, sizni biror narsaga majburlagan va shu bilan o‘zgartirgan o‘qituvchi.
Part 2 da imtihonchi karta beradi, bir daqiqa tayyorlanasiz va ikki daqiqagacha gapirasiz (rasmiy format). Odamlar haqidagi kartalarga umumiy yondashuv people cue cards sahifasida bor; bu sahifa faqat o‘qituvchi kartasiga bag‘ishlangan.
Mashq kartasi: ta’sir qilgan o‘qituvchi
Mashq uchun tuzilgan karta; real imtihondan olinmagan.
Describe a teacher who had a strong influence on you.
You should say:
- who the teacher was
- what subject they taught
- what they were like
- and explain how they influenced you.
Boshqa variantlar: a teacher you remember well, a teacher from your primary school, someone who taught you a useful skill. Oxirgisi maktab o‘qituvchisi bo‘lishi shart emas: murabbiy, usta yoki katta aka-opa ham bo‘laveradi.
Bir daqiqalik qaydlar
- Who: Gulnora Karimovna, English, school in Qarshi, grades 9–11
- Like: strict, didn’t smile 1st month, red pen, no Uzbek in class
- Method: read aloud every lesson; weekly 1-min Telegram voice message → 2–3 corrections
- Moment: “comfortable” — stressed wrong, repeat 10×, class laughed
- Influence: chose English at uni; mistakes = normal; I tutor cousin same way
SHE so‘zini qaydlarning tepasiga katta harflar bilan yozib qo‘ying. O‘zbekcha “u” jinsni ko‘rsatmagani uchun nutqda he va she aralashib ketishi juda oson.
Namuna javob: Gulnora Karimovna
Mashq uchun yozilgan, taxminan ikki daqiqalik nutq. Band 7 atrofidagi javob qanday bo‘lishini ko‘rsatadi, rasmiy baho emas.
The teacher I’d like to talk about is Gulnora Karimovna, who taught me English for my last three years at school in Qarshi.
My first impression of her wasn’t great, to be honest. She was probably the strictest teacher in the school. For the whole first month she hardly smiled, she marked everything in red pen, and she had one rule that nobody dared to break: no Uzbek in her lessons, not even to ask for a pencil.
Her method was quite simple, but it worked. Every lesson started with each of us reading a short paragraph aloud, and every Friday we had to send her a one-minute voice message on Telegram about our week. She always replied with two or three corrections, never more, which I only later realised was deliberate, so that we wouldn’t get discouraged.
The moment I remember best was about one word: “comfortable”. I’d been saying it with the stress in the middle for years, and one day she stopped me and made me repeat it, properly, about ten times in front of everyone. The class was laughing, and I was bright red. But I have never said it wrong since, and whenever I hear someone make the same mistake, I think of her.
As for her influence, it was huge. I don’t think I would have chosen to study English at university without her. More importantly, she taught me that making mistakes out loud is part of learning, not something to be ashamed of. These days I help my younger cousin with her English, and I’ve caught myself using exactly the same Friday voice message trick. I still send Gulnora Karimovna a message every year on Teachers’ Day, and she still corrects my grammar.
Nimaga e’tibor bering: qat’iylik uchta aniq odat bilan ko‘rsatilgan (tabassum yo‘q, qizil ruchka, o‘zbekcha taqiq). Usul ham aniq: juma kunlari, bir daqiqa, ikki-uchta tuzatish. Yakuniy qism As for her influence bilan boshlanib, kartaning oxirgi bandiga to‘g‘ridan-to‘g‘ri javob beradi.

Ustoz haqida gapirganda: taught, learned va he/she
- “She learned me English.” Rus tilidagi учить ikkala ma’noni beradi, ingliz tilida ular alohida: o‘qituvchi teaches, o‘quvchi learns. To‘g‘risi: She taught me English.
- “She teached us.” Teach noto‘g‘ri fe’l: taught.
- He va she aralashishi. Ayol o‘qituvchi haqida he chiqib ketsa, darhol tuzating: he — sorry, she. Bir marta tuzatish nutqqa zarar qilmaydi.
- “I thank to her.” I’m grateful to her yoki I thank her.
- “Teacher said us.” Say dan keyin to‘g‘ridan-to‘g‘ri odam kelmaydi: she told us yoki she said to us.
Pronunciation ustunini tekshirish: urg‘u va bo‘laklar
Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning to‘rtinchi ustuni Pronunciation. Band 7 uchun alohida matn yo‘q: unda band 6 ning barcha ijobiy belgilari va band 8 ning bir qismi bo‘ladi. Band 6 da talaffuz vositalari ishlatiladi, lekin nazorat o‘zgaruvchan; nutq odatda to‘g‘ri bo‘laklarga bo‘linadi, ammo tez gapirish yoki urg‘u ritmi yo‘qligi ta’sir qilishi mumkin; ayrim so‘z yoki tovushlar noto‘g‘ri aytiladi. Band 8 da esa uzun gaplarda ham urg‘u va ohang erkin boshqariladi va nutq butun davomida oson tushuniladi.
Namunadagi ustoz aynan urg‘uni tuzatgan, shuning uchun bu kartada talaffuzni tekshirish mantiqan to‘g‘ri keladi.
- Urg‘u ro‘yxati (2 daqiqa). Mavzuga oid so‘zlarni lug‘atda tinglang va urg‘uli bo‘g‘inni katta harf bilan yozing: COMfortable, PAtient, INfluence, deMANDing, enCOURaging, eduCAtion. Ko‘p o‘zbek o‘quvchisi urg‘uni so‘zning oxiriga suradi.
- Yozuv (3 daqiqa). Bir daqiqa tayyorlanib, o‘z ustozingiz haqida ikki daqiqa gapiring va yozib oling.
- Tinglash (3 daqiqa). Ro‘yxatdagi so‘zlardan qaysilarini ishlatganingizni belgilang va urg‘u to‘g‘rimi, tekshiring. Strict so‘zining oxiridagi -ct eshitiladimi? So‘z oxiridagi undoshlar tushib qolishi o‘zbek nutqida tez-tez uchraydi.
- Bo‘laklar (2 daqiqa). Birinchi 30 soniyani qog‘ozga yozing va ma’no bo‘laklari orasiga / qo‘ying: The teacher I’d like to talk about / is Gulnora Karimovna / who taught me English. Keyin shu joylarda qisqa pauza bilan qayta o‘qing.
- Qayta yozuv (2 daqiqa). Yana gapiring; bu safar tezlikni biroz pasaytiring.
Talaffuz bo‘yicha to‘liq reja pronunciation band 7 sahifasida.
Part 3: ta’lim va o‘qituvchilar haqida 4 savol
- What makes a good teacher? Subject knowledge matters, but I’d say the key thing is noticing when a student is lost and changing the explanation, rather than just repeating it louder.
- Should teachers be strict? Up to a point. Clear rules help students feel safe, but strictness without warmth just makes them afraid to speak, which is the opposite of what a language class needs.
- Will technology replace teachers? It will take over some tasks, like checking grammar exercises, but I doubt it will replace the human side: motivating a teenager who’s given up, for example.
- Are teachers respected enough in your country? Traditionally, yes; in Uzbek culture the word “ustoz” carries a lot of respect. Salaries, though, don’t always reflect that, which is why many good teachers also tutor privately.
Ta’lim mavzusidagi boshqa Part 3 savollari Part 3 education sahifasida.

Ustozingiz haqidagi hikoyani Bandi bilan mashq qiling
BandMate ilovasidagi IELTS Speaking mock testida Part 2 kartasini taymer bilan gapirasiz, keyin Part 3 muhokamasi davom etadi. Bandi bilan ovozli suhbatda o‘qituvchingiz haqida gapirsangiz, talaffuz bo‘yicha fikr ham olasiz, masalan urg‘usi noto‘g‘ri tushgan so‘zlar haqida. Bu fikr mashq uchun, rasmiy IELTS bahosi emas.
