Describe a time you helped someone: IELTS Part 2 namuna

Describe a time you helped someone: Chorsuda adashgan sayyohga yordam haqida 2 daqiqalik namuna, voqea chizig‘i, 12 ta ibora, Part 3 va javobli mashq.

Yigit keksa ayolga sabzavot solingan yashikni ko‘tarishga yordam bermoqda: yordam haqidagi IELTS kartasi

“Describe a time you helped someone” — bu hikoya kartasi. Yordamning kattaligi muhim emas: adashgan odamga yo‘l ko‘rsatish ham, qo‘shniga ko‘chishda qarashish ham yetadi. Muhimi — voqea boshi, o‘rtasi va oxiri bo‘lgan aniq kun, o‘tgan zamonlarning to‘g‘ri ishlatilishi va oxirida bu voqea sizga nima berganini aytish.

IELTS rasmiy saytidagi Speaking formati bo‘yicha Part 2 da bir daqiqa tayyorlanasiz, ikki daqiqagacha gapirasiz, keyin imtihonchi bir-ikki qisqa savol berishi mumkin. Voqea kartalarining umumiy tuzilishi event cue card sahifasida; bu yerda faqat yordam haqidagi hikoya.

Mashq kartasi: kimgadir yordam bergan payt

Mashq uchun yozilgan karta; imtihon kartalaridan ko‘chirilmagan.

Describe a time when you helped someone.

You should say:

  • who you helped
  • when and where it happened
  • how you helped them
  • and explain how you felt about it.

Yaqin variantlar: a time you helped a stranger, a time someone helped you (xuddi shu hikoya, lekin siz yordam olgan tomon), a time you helped a family member with something difficult. Hashar, to‘y tayyorgarligi yoki ukangizga imtihonga tayyorlanishda yordam ham to‘liq mos keladi.

Qaydlar: voqea chizig‘i

Hikoya kartasida qaydlarni vaqt tartibida, strelkalar bilan yozing. Shunda gapirayotganda “keyin nima bo‘ldi?” degan savol o‘z-o‘zidan javob topadi.

  • When/where: last Oct, ~7 pm, Chorsu metro exit, after uni
  • Who: Elena, Spain, huge backpack, phone dead, printout of booking
  • Did: called owner → translated Uz/Ru ↔ En → walked 15 min, mahalla lanes
  • End: owner’s son at corner; money → refused
  • Feel/why: English = real tool; photo from Samarkand; cousin in Korea

Namuna javob: Chorsuda adashgan sayyoh

Mashq uchun tuzilgan, ikki daqiqaga yaqin javob. Band 7 atrofidagi hikoyaga misol; imtihonchi tomonidan baholanmagan.

I’d like to talk about a time I helped a tourist who was lost in Tashkent. It was last October, around seven in the evening, and I was on my way home from university, coming out of Chorsu metro station.

A woman with a huge backpack was standing by the exit, looking at a piece of paper, then at the street, then back at the paper. When she saw me, she asked, a bit desperately, “Sorry, do you speak English?” Her name was Elena, she was from Spain, and her phone had died about an hour earlier. All she had was a printout of her guesthouse booking with an address and a phone number.

I have to admit I was nervous. I’d studied English for years, but I’d never actually used it with a stranger. Anyway, I rang the number on her printout. The owner only spoke Uzbek and Russian, so I ended up translating between the two of them, which was surprisingly fun. It turned out the place was only about fifteen minutes away, but it was tucked away in the narrow lanes of the old mahalla, and there was no way she’d have found it in the dark with a dead phone.

So I walked her there. On the way she told me she’d been travelling for three weeks and that this was the first time she’d felt properly lost. The owner’s son was waiting for us at the corner, and she tried to give me some money, which I turned down, obviously.

The reason it stayed with me is that it was the first time English felt like a real tool rather than a school subject. Two days later she sent me a photo from Samarkand with a thank-you, and I remember thinking: if I can do that, I can probably survive a job interview in English too. And, to be honest, I also thought about my cousin, who studies in Korea. She once got lost there, and a stranger helped her in exactly the same way.

Nimaga e’tibor bering: voqea o‘tgan zamonning uch shaklida aytilgan: asosiy voqealar past simple (I rang, I walked), fon past continuous (was standing, was waiting), undan oldingi voqealar past perfect (her phone had died, I’d studied). Hissiyot bitta so‘z bilan emas, xulosa bilan berilgan.

Yordam haqida gapirganda: “helped to her” va “felt myself”

  • “I helped to her.” Help dan keyin to‘g‘ridan-to‘g‘ri odam: I helped her. Ish bilan: I helped her with her bags, I helped her find the place.
  • “She was lost her way.” Ikki tuzilma aralashgan. To‘g‘risi: She was lost, She had lost her way yoki She got lost.
  • “She asked me help.” Ask for: She asked me for help yoki She asked me to help her.
  • “I felt myself very happy.” Ruscha чувствовал себя kalkasi. Inglizchada myself kerak emas: I felt really happy.
  • “She didn’t know where is the hotel.” Gap ichidagi savolda so‘z tartibi to‘g‘ri: She didn’t know where the hotel was.

Fluency and coherence ustuni: pauzalarni ikki turga ajratish

Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning Fluency and coherence ustunida band 7 uchun muhim ibora bor: ikkilanish, takror yoki o‘zini tuzatish bo‘lishi mumkin, ko‘pincha gap o‘rtasida va til topishdagi qiyinchilik sababli, lekin ular izchillikka ta’sir qilmaydi. Band 8 da esa ikkilanishning ko‘pi mazmun bilan bog‘liq bo‘ladi, ya’ni nomzod so‘z emas, fikr izlab to‘xtaydi. Band 6 da shunday to‘xtashlar tufayli izchillik ba’zan yo‘qoladi.

Demak, hamma pauza bir xil emas. Hikoya kartasida buni aniq ko‘rish mumkin.

  1. 2 daqiqa. O‘z yordam hikoyangizni taymer bilan aytib, yozib oling.
  2. 4 daqiqa. Yozuvni tinglab, har bir pauza va o‘zini tuzatishni qog‘ozga belgilang: M — mazmun (keyin nima bo‘lgan edi?), T — til (so‘z yoki zamon izlash).
  3. 2 daqiqa. T belgilarining nechtasi gapni butunlay qayta boshlashga olib keldi? Bunday “qayta boshlash” izchillikni eng ko‘p buzadi.
  4. 3 daqiqa. T lar qaysi so‘zlarda bo‘lgan bo‘lsa, ularni yozing. Ko‘pincha noto‘g‘ri fe’llar: got lost, rang, told, led, sent, turned down. Ularni qaydlaringiz chetiga qo‘shing.
  5. 2 daqiqa. Qayta gapiring. Maqsad: T lar kamroq, M lar esa tabiiy qolsin.

To‘xtab qolganda nutqni tabiiy davom ettirish usullari self-correction sahifasida.

Mashq: yordam iboralarini to‘ldiring

So‘zlar: hand, way, lost, out, least, favour, day, turned

  1. Can I give you a ___ with those heavy bags?
  2. Excuse me, could you show me the ___ to the metro?
  3. We got ___ in the old town and walked in circles for an hour.
  4. My neighbour went ___ of his way to help us move house.
  5. Please don’t thank me, it was the ___ I could do.
  6. You helped me last year, so let me return the ___.
  7. Her thank-you message really made my ___.
  8. She offered me money, but I ___ it down.

Javoblar

  • 1. hand (give someone a hand)
  • 2. way (show someone the way)
  • 3. lost (get lost)
  • 4. out (go out of your way)
  • 5. least (the least I could do)
  • 6. favour (return the favour)
  • 7. day (make someone’s day)
  • 8. turned (turn down)

Part 3: yordam va ko‘ngillilik haqida 4 savol

  1. Why are some people more willing to help strangers than others? Partly personality, but I think experience matters more. People who’ve been helped themselves, say while travelling abroad, tend to stop when they see someone in trouble.
  2. Should schools make students do volunteer work? A few hours a year, yes, if it’s something real, like a clean-up or helping at a care home. Forcing it for too long probably kills the motivation.
  3. Do neighbours help each other less than in the past? In high-rise blocks, maybe. But in a lot of mahallas the tradition of hashar is still alive: people turn up on a Saturday to help with a clean-up or with building work.
  4. Who should help people in need: the government or individuals? Both, but in different ways. The government should cover the basics, like healthcare, while individuals and charities can react faster to specific situations.

Part 3 da fikrni “fikr → sabab → misol” tartibida qurish opinion structure sahifasida tushuntirilgan.

Yordam hikoyangizni Bandi bilan aytib ko‘ring

BandMate ilovasida IELTS Speaking mock testi bor: Part 2 kartasiga bir daqiqa tayyorlanib, taymer bilan gapirasiz, keyin Part 3 savollariga o‘tasiz. Bandi bilan ovozli suhbatda yordam bergan kuningiz haqida gapirib, o‘tgan zamonlar va talaffuz bo‘yicha fikr olishingiz mumkin. Bu fikr keyingi mashqni tanlash uchun; u rasmiy IELTS bahosi emas.
