Uzoq yo‘l kartasida manzil emas, yo‘lning o‘zi baholanadi. Imtihonchi “Urganchga bordim, to‘yda bo‘ldim” degan qisqa xabarni emas, yo‘lda nima bo‘lganini eshitmoqchi: kim bilan edingiz, vagonda kimlar bor edi, qayerda to‘xtab qoldingiz, nimani ko‘rdingiz. Shuning uchun javobning ko‘p qismini yo‘l davomidagi 2–3 kichik voqeaga ajrating va manzilga faqat oxirgi 20 soniyani qoldiring.
Yana bir xavf: vaqt bo‘yicha oldinga-orqaga sakrash. Yo‘lda eslangan eski voqea yoki bugungi fikr qo‘shilganda gap chalkashadi va nomzod qayta-qayta boshlaydi. Quyida shu chalkashlikni o‘z yozuvingizda topish tartibi ham bor.
Journey, trip, travel: kartadagi so‘zni to‘g‘ri tushunish
Karta journey deydi, va bu tasodif emas. Travel, trip va journey farqi qisqacha shunday:
- journey — A nuqtadan B nuqtaga borish jarayoni: The journey took all night.
- trip — biror joyga borib qaytish, maqsad bilan: a trip to Khiva, a business trip.
- travel — asosan fe’l yoki umumiy ma’nodagi sanalmaydigan ot: I love travelling. Air travel is expensive. “A long travel” deyilmaydi.
Qisqa safar haqidagi kartaga describe a trip sahifasida namuna bor; bu sahifa esa yo‘lning uzunligi va davomiyligi haqida.
Mashq uchun karta: uzoq yo‘l
BandMate tahririyati tuzgan mashq kartasi; imtihonda so‘zlar farq qilishi mumkin.
Describe a long journey you have made.
You should say:
- where you went
- how you travelled
- who you went with
- and explain why you remember this journey.
Rasmiy formatda (IELTS.org) karta bilan birga qalam va qog‘oz beriladi. Bir daqiqa tayyorlanib, taxminan ikki daqiqa gapirasiz; butun Speaking testi 11–14 daqiqa davom etadi va yozib olinadi.
Qaydlar: yo‘lni “bekatlar”ga bo‘lish
Qaydni vaqt chizig‘i shaklida yozing. Har bir qator — bitta “bekat”, har birida bitta aniq tafsilot.

- Why: wedding = blur, train = every hour; first talk as adults
Namuna javob: buvim bilan Qizilqum orqali
Mashq uchun yozilgan namuna, gapirilganda ikki daqiqaga yaqin. Band 7 atrofidagi uslubni ko‘rsatadi; rasmiy baho emas.
I’d like to describe a train journey I made two years ago, from Tashkent to Urgench, in the far west of Uzbekistan. It wasn’t the longest trip I’ve ever taken in kilometres, but it definitely felt like the longest.
We were going to my cousin’s wedding in Khorezm, and my parents couldn’t get time off work, so I was sent with my grandmother, who was seventy-eight at the time. I was nineteen, and it was the first time I’d been fully responsible for someone else on a trip.
We took the overnight train, in one of those open sleeper carriages where there are no compartments and everyone can see everyone else. At first I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it turned out to be the best part. Within an hour, the family opposite had spread out their food on the little table, bread, boiled eggs, tomatoes, and my grandmother added her somsa, so it became a kind of shared picnic.
Around two in the morning the train stopped in the middle of the Kyzylkum desert and just stayed there. Nobody told us why. People were getting restless, and I was worried about my grandmother, but she was completely calm. She said that when she was young, the same journey had taken two days by bus, so a delay didn’t bother her at all. Then she started telling me about her own wedding, which I’d never heard about before.
When I woke up, the sun was coming up over the sand, and there was nothing out there except a few camels and some dry bushes. I remember thinking how huge the country is.
We arrived in the afternoon, much later than planned, but I didn’t really mind. Looking back, the wedding itself is a bit of a blur, but I remember every hour of that train. I think it was the first time I talked to my grandmother as an adult rather than as a grandchild.
Fluency and coherence ustunini tekshirish: qayta boshlangan gaplar
Rasmiy Speaking band descriptors ning Fluency and coherence ustunida o‘zini tuzatishning o‘zi ayb emas. Band 7 da ikkilanish, takror yoki o‘zini tuzatish, ko‘pincha gap o‘rtasida, uchrashi mumkin, lekin ular izchillikka ta’sir qilmaydi. Band 6 da esa aynan shular sabab izchillik ba’zan yo‘qoladi. Demak, savol “necha marta tuzatdim?” emas, “tuzatganimdan keyin tinglovchi ipni yo‘qotdimi?”
Uzoq yo‘l hikoyasida qayta boshlashlar ko‘p bo‘ladi, chunki zamonlar tez almashadi: yo‘l (we took), undan oldingi voqea (she had travelled), bugungi fikr (I think). Tekshiruv tartibi:
- 1 daqiqa. Qaydlarni yozing.
- 2 daqiqa. Taymer bilan gapirib, yozib oling.
- 4 daqiqa. Tinglang. Har bir qayta boshlangan yoki tuzatilgan gap uchun qog‘ozga belgi qo‘ying va birinchi ikki so‘zni yozing: we was… we were, the train… the carriage, she said… no, she told me.
- 2 daqiqa. Belgilarni uch guruhga ajrating: Z — zamon tuzatildi, S — so‘z izlandi, I — fikr ipi uzilib, gap boshqatdan boshlandi. Z va S band 7 da ham bo‘ladi; xavflisi I.
- 3 daqiqa. I belgilari turgan joylarni qaydda toping va o‘sha qismni qisqa gaplarga bo‘lib qayta ayting: avval voqea (The train stopped.), keyin tafsilot (Nobody told us why.). Qayta yozib oling va I lar kamayganini tekshiring.
O‘zini tuzatishni tabiiy qilish iboralari (I mean, or rather, what I’m trying to say is) self-correction sahifasida.

Part 3: sayohat va transport haqida 4 savol
Mashq savollari; javob g‘oyalari qisqa yo‘nalish sifatida berilgan.
- Why do some people prefer trains to planes for long journeys? Trains are often cheaper, you can walk around and see the country. For very long distances, though, most people choose to fly.
- How could long journeys be made more comfortable? Better seats and clean toilets, obviously. But passengers matter too: sharing food and talking makes eighteen hours feel shorter.
- Do people travel more than they did in the past? Much more. My grandparents rarely left their region, while young people now fly abroad to study or work.
- Will online communication reduce travel in the future? Business trips, maybe. Family visits, no: you can’t hug someone on a video call.
Sayohat va turizm haqidagi chuqurroq Part 3 savollari Part 3: travel and tourism sahifasida bo‘ladi.
