Kimni tanlash kerak

“The person I’d like to talk about is my aunt Nargiza, my mother’s younger sister. For about twenty years she taught maths at a school in our district, and she was the kind of teacher students were slightly afraid of but secretly liked.
What she did that I admire happened when I was in my early teens. Her salary wasn’t really enough, and at forty-seven, when most people are thinking about slowing down, she decided to start baking cakes to order from her kitchen. She had no training at all. She learned from online videos late at night, and I remember at least two cakes that completely collapsed before she got anything right. At first she only sold them to neighbours, but word of mouth spread surprisingly fast, and she now runs a small bakery with two employees. She’s had it for about six years.
The moment that sums her up for me, though, was a wedding order a few years ago. When the customer came to collect the cake, they noticed the couple’s names were spelled wrong. It was partly the customer’s mistake, actually, but my aunt didn’t argue. She got up at five the next morning and made a completely new cake for free, in time for the wedding.
So why do I admire her? Mainly for two things. First, she proved that it’s never too late to start something from scratch. Second, she’s honest in a way that costs her money, which I think is quite rare. And her example has affected me directly. Last year I was scared to switch my university major because I thought I’d lost too much time, and it was her story that made me realise a year or two isn’t really that much.”

O‘zbek o‘quvchilar ko‘p qiladigan xatolar
“I admire to her” yoki “I am admire her”. Admire o‘timli fe’l: I admire her. Sababni for bilan ayting: I admire her for her courage yoki I admire her for starting again.
“I have big respect to him.” Ruscha “уважение к” kalkasi. To‘g‘risi: I have a lot of respect for him yoki oddiygina I really respect him.
“She is working as a teacher 20 years.” Tugagan davr uchun: She worked as a teacher for twenty years. Hali davom etsa: She has worked as a teacher for twenty years. For ni tushirib qoldirmang.
“He is my idol.” Grammatik xato emas, lekin kattalar nutqida ko‘pincha bolalarcha eshitiladi. Role model yoki someone I look up to tabiiyroq.

Javoblar:
- 1 — up. Look up to someone: kimgadir havas qilmoq, hurmat bilan qaramoq.
- 2 — for. Admire someone for doing something.
- 3 — way. The way she…: qanday qilishi.
- 4 — respect. Have respect for.
- 5 — has. Since 2015 va hali ham davom etmoqda: present perfect.
- 6 — worked. Nafaqaga chiqqan, davr tugagan: past simple.
Qo‘shimcha topshiriq. “My teacher was very kind and helpful” gapini dalil bilan qayta yozing. Namuna javob: My teacher used to stay after class to explain things to anyone who was struggling, even though she wasn’t paid for it. Sizning variantingizda sifat so‘zi bo‘lmasligi mumkin; harakat o‘zi gapirsin.
