Task 1 hisobotida so‘z boyligining uch qismi ishlaydi: o‘zgarishni aytish (rose, fell, levelled off va ularning darajasi: slightly, sharply), taqqoslash (twice as high as, whereas, by contrast) va raqamni to‘g‘ri yozish (just under a third, 2.5 million, percentage points). Eng muhimi: so‘z raqamga mos bo‘lishi kerak. 100 dan 103 ga o‘zgarishni soared deb yozsangiz, bu boy lug‘at emas, noaniq ma’lumot. Quyida har uch guruh jadvallarda, predloglar, o‘zbek o‘quvchilariga xos xatolar va xayoliy ma’lumotdagi mashq bor.
O‘zgarish fe’llari: yuqoriga, pastga, o‘zgarishsiz
| Yuqoriga | Pastga | O‘zgarishsiz yoki aralash |
|---|---|---|
| rise (rose, risen) | fall (fell, fallen) | remain stable |
| increase | decrease | stay the same |
| grow (grew, grown) | decline | level off |
| climb | drop | plateau |
| go up (went up) | go down (went down) | fluctuate |
| surge | dip | stabilise |
| soar | plummet / plunge | recover, rebound |
Ehtiyot bo‘ling:
- Surge, soar, plummet, plunge juda katta va tez o‘zgarish uchun. Ularni hisobotda bir martadan ortiq ishlatmang.
- Dip kichik va qisqa pasayish, keyin odatda tiklanish keladi.
- Recover va rebound pasayishdan keyingi o‘sish. Oldin pasayish bo‘lmasa, ishlatmang.
- Fluctuate chiziq bir necha marta ko‘tarilib-tushganda. Bitta ko‘tarilish va bitta tushish bu rose and then fell.
- Rise va fall o‘timsiz: The price rose. Raise esa o‘timli: The company raised its prices. The price was raised grafik tasvirida deyarli kerak bo‘lmaydi.
Daraja so‘zlari: raqamga mos ravish va sifat
Ravish grafik shkalasiga nisbatan o‘lchanadi. Quyidagi jadval BandMate tahririyatining amaliy yo‘riqnomasi, IELTS’ning rasmiy qoidasi emas: aniq chegara yo‘q, lekin o‘quvchi raqamni ko‘rib, so‘zingizga ishonishi kerak.
| O‘zgarish | Ravish (fe’l bilan) | Sifat (ot bilan) | Misol |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deyarli sezilmas | marginally, slightly | a marginal, a slight | rose slightly from 40 to 42 |
| O‘rtacha, bir tekis | moderately, steadily, gradually | a moderate, a steady, a gradual | a steady increase over ten years |
| Katta | significantly, considerably, substantially | a significant, a considerable | fell considerably, from 80 to 50 |
| Katta va tez | sharply, rapidly, steeply | a sharp, a rapid, a steep | a sharp drop in a single year |
| Juda katta | dramatically | a dramatic | faqat grafikdagi eng keskin o‘zgarish uchun |
Ikki qolip bir fikrni ikki xil yozishga imkon beradi va takrorni kamaytiradi:
- Ega + fe’l + ravish: The number of visitors rose sharply in 2024.
- There was + sifat + ot + in: There was a sharp rise in the number of visitors in 2024.
Uchinchi, kamroq ishlatiladigan qolip: yil + saw / witnessed: 2024 saw a sharp rise in visitor numbers. Bir hisobotda bir marta yetarli.
Predloglar: to, by, of, at, from
Bu kichik so‘zlar ma’noni butunlay o‘zgartiradi, shuning uchun Task Achievement’ga ham ta’sir qiladi.
| Qolip | Ma’nosi | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| rose to 60 | yakuniy qiymat 60 | Sales rose to 60,000. |
| rose by 20 | farq 20 | Sales rose by 20,000. |
| from 40 to 60 | boshlanish va oxir | Sales rose from 40,000 to 60,000. |
| a rise of 20 | ot bilan farq | There was a rise of 20,000. |
| a rise in sales | nima o‘zgargani | a rise in sales (of sales emas) |
| peaked at 60 | eng yuqori qiymat | Sales peaked at 60,000 in 2022. |
| in 2022, between 2020 and 2024 | vaqt | over the period, throughout the decade |
| stood at 40 | boshlang‘ich holat | In 2020, sales stood at 40,000. |
Taqqoslash iboralari
| Ibora | Qachon | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| twice / three times as … as | ko‘paytma | Bus users were twice as numerous as metro users. |
| twice the number of | ot bilan ko‘paytma | Tashkent had twice the number of cafés that Samarkand had. |
| slightly / far / much higher than | farq kattaligi | far higher than in rural areas |
| the same as / similar to | teng yoki yaqin | a similar figure to that of 2019 |
| compared with | ikki qiymatni yonma-yon | 30%, compared with 45% for men |
| whereas / while | bir gapda qarama-qarshilik | Imports rose, whereas exports fell. |
| by contrast / in contrast | yangi gap boshida | By contrast, rural use declined. |
| the highest / the second largest | tartib | the second largest category |
| the gap between X and Y widened / narrowed | farq o‘zgarishi | The gap between the two groups narrowed. |
| respectively | ikki ro‘yxatni tartib bo‘yicha bog‘lash | A and B had 20% and 35% respectively. |
That of va those of takrorni oldini oladi: The population of Samarkand was smaller than that of Tashkent. Taqqoslash tili ustunli grafiklarda ayniqsa ko‘p kerak bo‘ladi; to‘liq namuna bar chart sahifasida.
Raqam yozish qoidalari
- O‘nli kasr nuqta bilan: 2.5 million, 12.75%. O‘zbek va rus yozuvidagi vergul (2,5) inglizchada xato ma’noga olib keladi. Batafsil: katta sonlarni o‘qish va yozish.
- Minglar vergul bilan: 12,500, 1,200,000.
- **Son bilan million ko‘plik olmaydi:** 3 million people, lekin millions of people.
- Gapni raqam bilan boshlamang: 15% of students… o‘rniga Around 15% of students… yoki Fifteen per cent of….
- ***Per cent va %*:** ikkalasi ham to‘g‘ri; bir hisobotda bittasini ishlating.
- Percentage points: 20% dan 30% ga o‘sish bu 10 percentage points o‘sish (50% emas). Batafsil kasr va foizlar sahifasida.
- Taxminiy so‘zlar: approximately, roughly, around (taxminan); just over / just under (sal ko‘p / sal kam); nearly, almost (yetmay qolgan); well over (ancha ko‘p).
- Kasr bilan ifoda: a quarter (25%), just under a third (31%), half (50%), nearly two-thirds (64%), three quarters (75%).

Rise – rose – risen va fall – fell – fallen shakllari imtihonda o‘ylab o‘tirmay chiqishi kerak. BandMate ilovasida Bandi bilan narxlar, ob-havo yoki shahringizdagi o‘zgarishlar haqida gapirib, bu fe’llarni jonli gapda ishlatasiz va talaffuz hamda grammatika bo‘yicha fikr olasiz. Ilova Task 1 javobingizga rasmiy band qo‘ymaydi.
