1. Tell me about yourself

I'm a backend developer with about two years of experience. At the moment I work at a small software company in Tashkent, where I build APIs for a delivery app, mostly in Python. Before that, I studied computer science at TUIT and did an internship in a bank's IT department. I'm now looking for a role in a bigger team where I can work on more complex systems and improve my code review skills.

I've worked in banking for three years. Right now I'm a customer operations specialist, so I handle account requests and check documents for corporate clients. Before that, I worked at a call centre, which taught me to stay calm with difficult customers. I've been working at a hotel reception in Samarkand for a year and a half. I check guests in and out, handle bookings and help tourists with tours and transport. Most of our guests are from Europe and Asia, so I use English every day. I'd like to join your hotel because it's bigger, and I want to learn how a larger front office works.

2. Why do you want to work here?

Task: I was responsible for the account, so I had to find the problem and keep the client informed. Action: I called the client first and explained what I was checking. Then I found that one document was missing a signature, contacted the right department and asked them to prioritise it. I updated the client twice that day. Result: The payment went through the next morning, and the client later renewed their contract. After that, I added a signature check to our document list.

6. Why are you leaving your current job?
