“Rozi emasman” inglizcha to‘g‘ridan to‘g‘ri I don’t agree yoki I disagree bo‘ladi. Lekin ingliz tilida so‘zlashuvchilar kamdan kam hollarda shunday quruq aytadi: odatda avval suhbatdoshning fikrini tan olishadi, keyin o‘zinikini aytishadi: I see what you mean, but I don’t think that’s the whole story. Rozilik ham shunday: I agree yetarli, lekin Absolutely yoki Fair enough ohangni aniqroq ko‘rsatadi.
Eng muhim qoida: I am agree emas, I agree. Agree — fe’l, o‘zbekchadagi “roziman” so‘ziga o‘xshab sifat emas. Inkori ham I don’t agree, I’m not agree emas.

Rozilik va qarshilik shkalasi: 5 daraja
Har bir darajada 5–6 ta ibora. Misollar bitta mavzu atrofida: “Toshkent markazida mashinalarni cheklash kerakmi?”
1. To‘liq rozilik
| Ibora | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| Absolutely. / Definitely. | Albatta, mutlaqo | — We need more bike lanes. — Absolutely. |
| I couldn’t agree more. | Bundan ortiq qo‘shila olmayman | I couldn’t agree more, the traffic is terrible. |
| That’s exactly what I think. | Men ham aynan shunday o‘ylayman | That’s exactly what I think about parking. |
| You’re absolutely right. | Mutlaqo haqsiz | You’re absolutely right, the buses are always full. |
| Exactly! / Totally! | Aynan! (norasmiy) | — The centre is too noisy. — Totally! |
| I’m with you on that. | Bu masalada siz bilan birgaman | I’m with you on that, walking is healthier. |
2. Oddiy rozilik
| Ibora | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| I agree. / I agree with you. | Qo‘shilaman | I agree with you about the metro. |
| That’s true. | Bu to‘g‘ri | That’s true, it’s faster than driving. |
| Good point. | Yaxshi fikr | Good point, I hadn’t thought of that. |
| Fair enough. | Mantiqan to‘g‘ri, qabul qilaman | Fair enough, parking should be more expensive. |
| I think so too. | Men ham shunday deb o‘ylayman | I think so too. |
3. Qisman rozilik
| Ibora | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| I agree up to a point. | Ma’lum darajada qo‘shilaman | I agree up to a point, but shops need deliveries. |
| You’ve got a point, but… | Gapingizda jon bor, lekin | You’ve got a point, but what about older people? |
| That’s partly true. | Bu qisman to‘g‘ri | That’s partly true, but taxis are cheap here. |
| I see what you mean, but… | Nima demoqchiligingizni tushunaman, lekin | I see what you mean, but it won’t work in winter. |
| Yes, but on the other hand… | Ha, lekin boshqa tomondan | Yes, but on the other hand, the air would be cleaner. |
| It depends. | Vaziyatga bog‘liq | It depends on the time of day. |
4. Muloyim qarshilik
| Ibora | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| I’m not so sure about that. | Bunga unchalik ishonmayman | I’m not so sure about that. People like their cars. |
| I’m afraid I don’t agree. | Afsuski, qo‘shila olmayman | I’m afraid I don’t agree. It would hurt small businesses. |
| I see it a bit differently. | Men buni biroz boshqacha ko‘raman | I see it a bit differently, actually. |
| I’m not sure that’s the case. | Bunday ekaniga amin emasman | I’m not sure that’s the case in Chilanzar. |
| Do you really think so? | Rostdan shunday deb o‘ylaysizmi? | Do you really think so? The metro is already crowded. |
| That’s one way to look at it, but… | Bu bir qarash, lekin | That’s one way to look at it, but it’s expensive. |
5. Qat’iy qarshilik
| Ibora | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| I don’t agree at all. | Umuman qo‘shilmayman | I don’t agree at all. It’s unfair to drivers. |
| I totally disagree. | Mutlaqo qarshiman | I totally disagree with banning cars. |
| That’s not true. | Bu to‘g‘ri emas | That’s not true, the numbers show the opposite. |
| No way! | Aslo! (norasmiy, do‘stlar orasida) | — Let’s walk there. — No way, it’s five kilometres! |
| You can’t be serious. | Jiddiy gapirmayapsiz-ku | You can’t be serious. In July? At forty degrees? |
Diqqat: 5-darajani faqat yaqin odamlar bilan yoki fakt noto‘g‘ri bo‘lganda ishlating. Ish joyida That’s not true dan ko‘ra I’m not sure that’s right ancha xavfsiz.
Qarshilikni yumshatishning 4 usuli
Ingliz tilida qarshilik fikrning o‘zida emas, qanday aytilganida qo‘pol eshitiladi. Quyidagi to‘rt usul istalgan qarshilikni muloyim qiladi:
- Avval tan oling: I see your point, but… / That’s a fair point, however…
- Afsus so‘zi qo‘shing: I’m afraid…, To be honest, …, Actually, …
- Kuchni pasaytiring: I don’t completely agree (I disagree o‘rniga), not entirely, a bit.
- Savol bering: But what about people who live far from the metro? Savol ko‘pincha qarshilikdan ham ta’sirliroq.
Solishtiring: You are wrong. Cars are not the problem. → I see what you mean, but I’m not sure cars are the main problem. What about the old buses? Ikkinchisida fikr o‘sha-o‘sha, lekin munozara davom etadi.
Madaniy farq: kattalarga va o‘qituvchiga qanday e’tiroz bildiriladi
O‘zbek madaniyatida kattaga yoki ustozga to‘g‘ridan to‘g‘ri “siz noto‘g‘risiz” deyish odobsizlik hisoblanadi, shuning uchun ko‘pchilik umuman jim turadi. Ingliz tilidagi o‘quv muhitida (universitet seminari, xalqaro jamoa) esa jim turish ko‘pincha “fikri yo‘q” deb tushuniladi. Yechim — hurmat bilan e’tiroz bildirish: Could I add something? I’m not sure that applies to Uzbekistan, because… Bu ham hurmatli, ham faol.
Aksincha, ingliz tilida so‘zlashuvchi hamkasbingiz That’s an interesting idea desa, u har doim ham maqtov emas: ba’zan bu yumshoq “qo‘shilmayman” degani. Ohangga va keyingi but so‘ziga quloq soling.
1-munozara dialogi: talabalar seminari
Mavzu: Should university attendance be optional? A — Madina, B — Jasur, C — o‘qituvchi.
C: So, should attendance be optional? Madina, what do you think?
A: I strongly believe it should be. We’re adults, and a lot of lectures are online anyway.
B: I see what you mean, but I’m not so sure. When I skip classes, I fall behind very quickly.
A: That’s partly true, but that’s your choice, isn’t it?
B: Maybe. But what about group projects? If half the group doesn’t come, the others do all the work.
A: Fair enough, that’s a good point. So maybe seminars should be compulsory, but lectures shouldn’t?
B: I could agree with that. It’s a reasonable compromise.
C: So you’ve found some middle ground. Good. Does anyone totally disagree?
2-munozara dialogi: ish majlisida rahbarga e’tiroz
A — marketing bo‘limi rahbari (britaniyalik), B — Toshkentdagi jamoa a’zosi Dilnoza.
A: I think we should launch the ad campaign in November.
B: Could I just add something? I’m afraid November might be a bit early for us.
A: Really? Why do you say that?
B: Well, the Uzbek version of the website isn’t ready yet. If we launch without it, most users here won’t understand the offer.
A: Hmm, that’s a fair point. How long do you need?
B: About three more weeks. So mid-December would work better, I think.
A: I agree up to a point, but December is busy with New Year sales.
B: True. What if we launch in Russian and English in November, and add Uzbek in early December?
A: That sounds like a good compromise. Let’s do that.
E’tibor bering: Dilnoza You’re wrong demadi. U sabab (the website isn’t ready) va muqobil yechim (What if we…?) berdi. Majlisdagi muzokara iboralari English negotiation phrases sahifasida bosqichma-bosqich berilgan.
“Men ham” va “men ham yo‘q”: kichik, lekin ko‘p uchraydigan xato
| Suhbatdosh | Noto‘g‘ri | To‘g‘ri |
|---|---|---|
| I love plov. | I love too. | Me too. / So do I. |
| I don’t like the heat. | Me too. | Me neither. / Neither do I. |
| I can’t swim. | I can’t too. | Neither can I. |
| I agree with Madina. | I am agree too. | So do I. / Me too. |
| I don’t agree with this. | I don’t agree too. | I don’t either. / Neither do I. |
Yana bir xato: I agree with your opinion grammatik to‘g‘ri, lekin og‘ir. Tabiiyroq: I agree with you yoki I agree with what you said. Ko‘pchilik predlogni ham adashtiradi: odamga with (agree with Jasur), rejaga yoki taklifga to (agree to the plan — rejani qabul qilmoq), mavzuda on/about (We agree on most things).
Mashq

B (namunalar): 1 — I see what you mean, but I actually find online lessons quite useful. 2 — I’m afraid I’m not sure this plan will work. Could we look at the budget again? 3 — I’m not sure that’s the case. Compared to many capitals, Tashkent is still fairly cheap.
C: 4 — Me neither. / Neither do I. 5 — Me too. / So am I. 6 — Me neither. / Neither can I.
D: 7 — I agree with you. 8 — I don’t agree with this idea. 9 — We agreed to the plan and signed it.
Keyingi qadam: fikrni asoslash
Qo‘shilish yoki qarshilik bildirish — faqat boshlanishi; undan keyin sabab kerak. Fikr boshlash uchun 30 ta ibora fikr bildirish iboralari sahifasida, speaking imtihonidagi javob tuzilmasi esa IELTS Part 3 opinion structure sahifasida. Qisqa ha va yo‘qning boshqa shakllari (sure, not really, I’d rather not) uchun ha va yo‘q deyish sahifasiga o‘ting.
