Vaqtda at aniq nuqta (soat), on kun va sana, in undan katta davr (oy, yil, fasl); joyda at nuqta yoki manzil, on sirt yoki chiziq, in ichki makon yoki hudud. To‘liq jadval va istisnolar in, on, at farqi sahifasida, under, behind, opposite kabi joy predloglari esa joy predloglari sahifasida.

Vaqt predloglari: 1–10

Har bir rasmga qarang va savolga to‘liq gap bilan javob bering. Bu yerda faqat in, on, at emas, next to, under, in front of ham kerak bo‘ladi. Bir nechta to‘g‘ri javob bo‘lishi mumkin.

Tayyor iboralar: 29–35

Bu gaplarda predlog qoidadan emas, iboraning o‘zidan keladi. Ularni butun holicha yodlash kerak.

Vaqt: 1–10

• 1. at — at sunrise, at sunset: kunning aniq nuqtasi.
• 2. in — yil.
• 3. on — sana. “1-sentabrda” ni in deb tarjima qilish eng ko‘p uchraydigan xato.
• 4. at — bayram davri (at Navruz). Bayramning aynan bir kuni haqida bo‘lsa, on Navruz Day deyish ham mumkin.
• 5. on — hafta kuni + kun qismi: on Tuesday evenings. Kun nomi bor joyda on g‘olib.
• 6. in — oy.
• 7. in — “ikki haftadan keyin”. After two weeks bu ma’noda kelajak uchun ishlatilmaydi.

• 12. at — kirish joyi nuqta sifatida.
• 13. on — ekran va qurilma: on my phone, on TV.
• 14. on — ro‘yxat sirt kabi: on the list, on the menu.
• 15. at — at the back of the bus / class, at the front. O‘zbekcha “orqada” ta’sirida in the back yoziladi; britancha me’yorda at the back, amerikacha nutqda in the back ham eshitiladi.
• 16. at — tadbir: at a wedding, at a concert.
• 17. in — qishloq, shahar, mamlakat.
• 18. in — kichik transport: in the car, in a taxi. Avtobus, poyezd, samolyot esa on.
• 19. at — chorraha nuqta: at the crossroads, at the traffic lights.
• 20. on — sirt: on the back of the receipt.

Rasmlar: 21–28

Namunaviy javoblar; boshqa to‘g‘ri variantlar ham qabul qilinadi.

• 21. It’s next to the block of flats. Yoki: The metro is near the flats.
• 22. It’s in front of the house, under the window.
• 23. It’s on the windowsill. In a pot ham to‘g‘ri: gul tuvak ichida.
• 24. It’s on the balcony. Balkon ochiq maydoncha, on bilan keladi.
• 25. It’s on the post, above the platform.
• 26. They’re in the bride’s hands. Qo‘l ichida ushlangan narsa — in.
• 27. It’s in the box.
• 28. He’s at work. He’s sitting at his laptop. Kompyuter yoki stol oldida ishlash — at: at my desk, at the computer.

Iboralar: 29–35

• 29. on — on time: aynan belgilangan vaqtda.
• 30. in — in time: kech qolmasdan, ulgurib.
• 31. In — in the end: oxir-oqibat.
• 32. on — on foot: piyoda. Boshqa transport by bilan (by bus), lekin piyoda doim on foot.
• 33. in — in a hurry: shoshyapman.
• 34. on — on holiday: ta’tilda. On business (ish safarida) ham shunday.
• 35. in — shahar va mamlakatga arrive in; bino va bekatga arrive at. Arrive to umuman ishlatilmaydi.

Ballingiz va qaysi jadvalga qaytish kerak

Rasm bosqichida adashgan bo‘lsangiz, uyingizdagi beshta narsani oling va “qayerda?” savoliga ovoz chiqarib javob bering. Harakatni bildiradigan into, out of, across keyingi mavzu: ular harakat predloglari sahifasida. Depend on, wait for kabi fe’l bilan keladigan predloglar esa fe’l va predlog sahifasida.

Kuningizni Bandiga predloglar bilan aytib bering
