Chastota ravishlari biror ish qanchalik tez-tez bo‘lishini aytadi: always (doim) → usually (odatda) → often (tez-tez) → sometimes (ba’zan) → rarely (kamdan-kam) → never (hech qachon). Ular gapda aniq joyda turadi: asosiy fe’ldan oldin, lekin to be dan keyin: I usually walk to work. I’m usually tired on Monday.
Shu ikki qoidani bilsangiz, Always I drink tea yoki I go always kabi eng ko‘p uchraydigan xatolardan qutulasiz.
Foizli shkala: doimdan hech qachongacha
| Ravish | Taxminan | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|---|
| always | 100% | doim, har doim | I always have breakfast at home. |
| usually / normally | ~90% | odatda | We usually visit Grandma on Sundays. |
| often / frequently | ~70% | tez-tez, ko‘pincha | She often works late. |
| sometimes | ~50% | ba’zan | I sometimes take a taxi. |
| occasionally | ~30% | vaqti-vaqti bilan | We occasionally eat out. |
| rarely / seldom | ~10% | kamdan-kam | He rarely watches TV. |
| hardly ever | ~5% | deyarli hech qachon | I hardly ever drink cola. |
| never | 0% | hech qachon | My dad never smokes. |
Foizlar aniq matematik chegara emas, faqat taxminiy tartib. Muhimi — tartibni bilish: often har doim sometimes dan ko‘p, rarely esa occasionally dan kam.
Seldom — rarely ning rasmiyroq sinonimi, og‘zaki nutqda kam ishlatiladi. Hardly ever esa kundalik suhbatda juda tabiiy.
Gapdagi o‘rni: be, oddiy fe’l va yordamchi fe’l
| Gapda nima bor | Ravish qayerda | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| Oddiy fe’l (go, work, eat) | fe’ldan oldin | I often go to the gym. |
| am / is / are / was / were | be dan keyin | She is always on time. |
| Yordamchi fe’l + asosiy fe’l | ikkalasining orasida | I have never been to Khiva. |
| Modal fe’l (can, should, must) | modal va fe’l orasida | You can always call me. |
| Inkor (don’t, doesn’t) | don’t dan keyin | I don’t usually eat meat. |
| Savol | ega va fe’l orasida | Do you often travel? |
Ikki gapni solishtiring:
- Aziz always comes late. — oddiy fe’l comes, ravish undan oldin.
- Aziz is always late. — is bor, ravish undan keyin.
Be bilan qoida teskari bo‘lgani uchun uni alohida eslab qoling. Bu qoidalar asosan hozirgi oddiy zamonda ishlaydi; zamonning o‘zi haqida Present Simple qoidasi va misollar sahifasida o‘qing.
Sometimes gap boshida, always esa yo‘q
Sometimes, usually, often, occasionally gap boshida yoki oxirida ham kelishi mumkin — bu ta’kid beradi:
- Sometimes I study in the library. — Ba’zan kutubxonada o‘qiyman.
- Usually the bus is on time, but not today. — Odatda avtobus o‘z vaqtida keladi, lekin bugun emas.
- I go jogging sometimes. — Ba’zan yuguraman.
Always, never, rarely, hardly ever esa gap boshida kelmaydi (buyruq gaplardan tashqari): Always I… va Never I… xato. Buyruqda esa bu tabiiy: Never give up! Always check your answers.
Never va inkor: ikki marta “yo‘q” demang
Never ning o‘zi inkor. O‘zbekchada “Men hech qachon go‘sht yemayman” — “hech qachon” bilan birga fe’l ham inkorda. Inglizchada fe’l ijobiy qoladi:
| Noto‘g‘ri | To‘g‘ri |
|---|---|
| I don’t never eat meat. | I never eat meat. |
| She never doesn’t call me. | She never calls me. |
| He isn’t never late. | He is never late. |
Inkor gapda never o‘rniga not… ever ishlatish mumkin: I don’t ever eat meat. Bu kuchliroq, biroz norozi ohangda eshitiladi.
Qolgan ravishlar inkorda don’t dan keyin keladi: I don’t usually…, I don’t often… — “odatda …mayman”, “uncha tez-tez …mayman”. I don’t always agree with him — U bilan doim ham rozi bo‘lavermayman.
How often? savoliga javob
How often…? — “Qanchalik tez-tez…?” Javobda chastota ravishi yoki aniq iboralar ishlatiladi. Aniq iboralar odatda gap oxirida turadi:
| Ibora | O‘zbekcha | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| every day / week / month | har kuni / hafta / oy | I call my parents every day. |
| once a week | haftada bir marta | I go to the bazaar once a week. |
| twice a month | oyiga ikki marta | We have meetings twice a month. |
| three times a year | yiliga uch marta | He visits Tashkent three times a year. |
| every other day | kunora | I water the plants every other day. |
| on Mondays / at weekends | dushanba kunlari / dam olish kunlari | The gym is busy at weekends. |
Diqqat: once a week — “haftada bir marta”, once in a week emas. O‘zbekcha “haftada” va ruscha “в неделю” in a week bo‘lib ketishi oson, lekin inglizchada a yetarli. Two times o‘rniga twice deyiladi; uchdan boshlab three times, four times.
Savol tuzishning o‘zi qiyin bo‘lsa, so‘roq gap tuzish mashqlari yordam beradi.
Rasmlarda: kun tartibi va odatlar

Oxirgi rasmdagi gapga e’tibor bering: is never — be bor, ravish undan keyin.
Shifokor qabulida: odatlar haqida savollar
Bemor Sanjar yillik tibbiy ko‘rikka keldi. Shifokor uning odatlarini so‘rayapti.
Doctor: How often do you exercise, Sanjar?
Sanjar: Not very often, to be honest. I sometimes play football with friends at weekends.
Doctor: And during the week?
Sanjar: I hardly ever do sport. I usually work until seven.
Doctor: How many hours do you normally sleep?
Sanjar: About six. I often stay up late with my phone.
Doctor: Do you smoke?
Sanjar: No, never.
Doctor: Good. What about fast food?
Sanjar: Maybe twice a week. But I always have breakfast at home.
Doctor: That’s good. Try to walk every day, even for twenty minutes. And you should never take your phone to bed.
Sanjar: I’ll try. My mum always says the same!
Dialogdagi har bir ravishni shkalaga joylang: always → usually/normally → often → sometimes → hardly ever → never. Keyin twice a week, every day kabi aniq iboralar qayerda turganini ko‘ring — gap oxirida. Maslahatlar dialog uchun yozilgan; sog‘lig‘ingiz bo‘yicha qarorni shifokoringiz bilan qabul qiling.

To‘rtinchi xato ko‘pincha I am ni “men” deb o‘ylashdan kelib chiqadi. Am — fe’l, oddiy fe’l bilan birga ishlatilmaydi.
Bir qiziq holat: always ba’zan davomli zamon bilan keladi va norozilik bildiradi: He’s always losing his keys! — U doim kalitini yo‘qotadi (jonga tegdi)! Bu farq Present Simple va Present Continuous farqi sahifasida tushuntirilgan.
