Britancha inglizchada holiday ikki ma’noda keladi: bayram (Navro‘z, Yangi yil) va ta’til yoki dam olish safari (go on holiday). Imtihonda qaysi ma’no so‘ralayotganini savolning o‘zidan aniqlang. Favourite holiday ko‘pincha bayram, your last holiday esa odatda safar. Ikkala holatda ham bitta aniq voqea va bitta detal ayting. Quyida ikki guruhga bo‘lingan 10 ta mashq savoli, band 6 va band 7+ javoblar, iboralar, xatolar va javobli mashq bor.
Savollar mashq uchun yozilgan, imtihondan olinmagan. Rasmiy format bo‘yicha Part 1 4–5 daqiqa davom etadi. Javoblar yonidagi band belgilari taxminiy mashq mo‘ljali, rasmiy baho emas.
Savol noaniq bo‘lsa nima qilasiz
“Do you like holidays?” kabi savol ikki ma’noda tushunilishi mumkin. Ikkilanib jim qolmang. Bitta ma’noni tanlang yoki birinchi jumlada ikkalasini qisqa qamrab oling:
Yes, both kinds. I love public holidays like Navruz because the whole family gets together, and I love going away in summer, even if it’s just to the mountains for a few days.
Bu javob savolni “to‘g‘ri tushundimmi” degan xavotirsiz yopadi va keyingi savolga yo‘l ochadi.
Birinchi guruh: bayramlar
Examiner: What is your favourite public holiday?
Band 6 atrofida: My favourite holiday is Navruz, because it is spring holiday and we cook sumalak.
Band 7+ uslubida: Navruz, without question. It falls on the twenty-first of March, just as the weather turns warm, and in our mahalla the neighbours stay up all night stirring a huge pot of sumalak. It feels less like a date on the calendar and more like the whole street waking up after winter.
Nima ishladi: sana, joy (mahalla) va obraz (the whole street waking up). “Sumalak” imtihonchi uchun notanish bo‘lishi mumkin, lekin kontekstdan qozonda pishiriladigan taom ekani tushunarli.
Examiner: What is the most important holiday in your country?
Band 6 atrofida: I think Independence Day is the most important holiday, because it is our country’s birthday.
Band 7+ uslubida: Officially, I’d say Independence Day on the first of September, when there are concerts and fireworks in the capital. For most families, though, the two Eid holidays matter more, since that’s when everyone visits relatives and older people are treated with special respect.
Nima ishladi: officially va for most families, though ikki qarashni solishtiradi. Hayit inglizchada Eid deb ataladi.
Examiner: Did you go on holiday a lot as a child?
Band 6 atrofida: No, not a lot. We usually went to my grandparents’ village in summer.
Band 7+ uslubida: Not in the sense of travelling abroad. Every summer, though, my parents sent us to my grandparents’ village for the whole of July, where we spent our days in the orchard and swam in the irrigation canal. Looking back, those were proper holidays.
Nima ishladi: “yo‘q” javobi ham qiziqarli bo‘lishi mumkin. Looking back hozirgi nuqtai nazardan xulosa beradi.
Ikkinchi guruh: ta’til va safarlar
Examiner: What did you do on your last holiday?
Band 6 atrofida: Last summer I went to Chimgan with my family. We stayed there three days and it was very nice.
Band 7+ uslubida: Last August my friends and I rented a small cottage near the Charvak reservoir for a long weekend. We spent most of the time swimming and grilling shashlik, and on the last night the power went out, so we sat by the water telling ghost stories until two in the morning.
Nima ishladi: “very nice” o‘rniga esda qoladigan kichik voqea. Past simple izchil ishlatilgan.
Examiner: Do you prefer relaxing holidays or active holidays?
Band 6 atrofida: I prefer active holidays, because relaxing holidays are boring.
Band 7+ uslubida: Somewhere in between. Lying on a beach for a week would drive me crazy, but I don’t want a schedule packed from dawn till dusk either. My ideal day away has one proper hike and one lazy afternoon.
Examiner: Where would you like to go on holiday in the future?
Band 6 atrofida: I want to go to Japan because it is very beautiful and modern country.
Band 7+ uslubida: Japan has been at the top of my list for years. I’d love to see how a city as crowded as Tokyo stays so clean and calm, and I’d try to go in cherry-blossom season, although I’ve heard it’s packed with tourists then.
Nima ishladi: band 6 javobda artikl tushib qolgan (a very beautiful and modern country). Band 7+ javobda I’d love to va although bilan istak va cheklov birga aytilgan.
Examiner: Do you prefer to go on holiday with your family or with friends?
Band 6 atrofida: I prefer with friends because we can do what we want.
Band 7+ uslubida: It depends on the trip. With my family it’s usually a visit to relatives in Fergana, which is lovely but fairly predictable. With friends I’m more willing to try something unplanned, like taking the night train to Khiva on a whim.
Examiner: Do you like to plan your holidays in advance?
Band 6 atrofida: Yes, I plan my holidays because I don’t like problems.
Band 7+ uslubida: I plan the essentials, like tickets and somewhere to stay, because good places get booked up quickly in summer. Beyond that, I like to leave room for surprises, since some of my best memories came from wrong turns.
Examiner: Do you take a lot of photos when you’re on holiday?
Band 6 atrofida: Yes, I take many photos with my phone and then I send them to my family.
Band 7+ uslubida: Far too many, honestly. I come back with hundreds of pictures and look at maybe ten of them. Lately I’ve been trying to take fewer, better photos and actually enjoy the view instead of watching it through a screen.
Examiner: Is it better to have one long holiday or several short ones?
Band 6 atrofida: I think several short holidays are better, because you don’t get tired.
Band 7+ uslubida: Several short ones, I think. After a long break I find it really hard to get back into the rhythm of work, whereas a long weekend every couple of months keeps me fresh without that painful first Monday.
