Shovqinli joy kartasida ko‘pchilik “It was very noisy and crowded” deydi-yu, gap tugaydi. Ikki daqiqa to‘ladigan javob shovqinni qismlarga ajratadi: kim yoki nima ovoz chiqaryapti, u qanday eshitiladi va sizga qanday ta’sir qiladi. Bozor buning uchun eng qulay joy, chunki u yerda har bir burchakning o‘z ovozi bor: sotuvchi, arava, tarozi, musiqa.
Quyida mashq kartasi, bir daqiqalik qaydlar, Toshkentdagi Qo‘yliq bozori haqida namuna va tovushni tasvirlash uchun iboralar bor.
Mashq kartasi: shovqinli joy
Tahririyat tuzgan mashq kartasi; rasmiy IELTS materiali emas.
Describe a noisy place you have been to.
You should say:
- where it is
- when you went there
- what made it noisy
- and explain how you felt about the noise.
IELTS.org tavsifiga ko‘ra Part 2 da kartani o‘qib, bir daqiqa tayyorlanasiz va ikki daqiqagacha gapirasiz. Shundan keyin imtihonchi bir-ikki qisqa savol berishi mumkin.
Qaydlar: “ovozlar xaritasi”
Bu kartada voqea emas, joy tasvirlanadi. Shuning uchun qaydlarni vaqt bo‘yicha emas, ovoz manbalari bo‘yicha yozing. Har bir manba 15–20 soniyalik bo‘lak beradi.
- Where/when: Qo‘yliq bazaar, south-east Tashkent; Saturday before Navruz, with dad
- Sellers: shouting prices, “come and try!”, calling everyone “sister/brother”
- Carts: porters, “posht, posht!” = mind your back
- Background: music from a CD stall, scales beeping, a lamb somewhere
- Feeling: first 10 min, headache; then energy, like a concert; quiet flat felt empty
Oxirgi qatorga e’tibor bering: his-tuyg‘u o‘zgaradi. “Avval yoqmadi, keyin yoqdi” degan burilish javobning oxirgi 30 soniyasini qiziqarli qiladi.
Namuna javob: Navro‘z oldidan Qo‘yliq bozori
Mashq namunasi, ikki daqiqaga yaqin. U band 7 atrofidagi nutqqa misol sifatida yozilgan, imtihonchi bahosi emas.
Candidate: The noisiest place I can think of is Qo‘yliq bazaar, which is one of the biggest food markets in Tashkent. I went there with my dad on the Saturday before Navruz last spring, because we were buying everything for a big family meal.
The noise hits you before you even get through the gate. The first thing you hear is the sellers. Every single one of them is shouting at the same time, calling out prices and inviting you to taste their dried apricots or their pomegranates. They call everyone “sister” or “brother”, so you constantly feel like someone is talking to you personally.
Then there are the porters with their metal carts. They push these heavy carts through the crowd at full speed and shout “posht, posht!”, which basically means “mind your back”. If you don’t move quickly, you get a cart in the back of your legs. On top of that, there was a stall selling CDs that had music blasting out of two huge speakers, and somewhere nearby I could hear a lamb, which made my dad laugh.
To be honest, for the first ten minutes I found it exhausting. I had a headache, and I couldn’t hear what my dad was saying unless he was right next to my ear. But after a while something changed. The noise stopped feeling like chaos and started feeling like energy, a bit like being at a concert. Everybody was bargaining, joking and rushing, and I got caught up in it.
What surprised me most was how I felt when we got home. Our flat seemed almost too quiet. So I’d say the bazaar is noisy in a good way: it’s the sound of a city that’s busy and alive.

Part 3: shovqin va shahar hayoti haqida 4 savol
Mashq uchun Part 3 savollari va qisqa javob g‘oyalari.
- Why are cities noisier than they used to be? Mostly traffic. There are simply more cars, and in Tashkent a lot of drivers use the horn as a way of talking to each other.
- Do young people and older people react to noise differently? I think so. My grandparents can’t stand loud music at weddings, while my younger cousins barely notice it, probably because they grew up with headphones on.
- Should there be stricter rules about noise in residential areas? For night-time, yes. Building work at eleven at night affects hundreds of people, so fines make sense. During the day, though, some noise is part of living in a city.
- Is it possible to find peace and quiet in a big city? It’s harder, but parks and even a quiet mosque courtyard can give you ten minutes of calm. The trick is knowing where to go.
