IELTS Speaking Part 3 leadership: yetakchilik bo‘yicha 8 savol

Leadership mavzusidagi 8 ta Part 3 savoli: band 6 va 7+ javoblar, maktab, oilaviy biznes va jamoa misollari, 10 ta ibora tarjimasi va tanlash mashqi.

Hamkasbining yelkasiga qo‘l qo‘yib, uni ruhlantirayotgan jamoa rahbari

Yetakchilik haqidagi Part 3 savollari mashhur shaxslar haqida emas: imtihonchi yaxshi rahbar qanday bo‘lishi, yetakchilikni o‘rgatish mumkinmi, nega ba’zilar mas’uliyatdan qochishini so‘raydi. Eng xavfsiz va kuchli yondashuv — misollarni kundalik hayotdan olish: sinf sardori, futbol jamoasi sardori, oilaviy do‘kon, IT startap. Siyosatchilar haqida gapirish shart emas, bu mavzuni bahsli qilib qo‘yishi mumkin. Javobni kuchaytirishning asosiy yo‘li esa uni vaziyatga bog‘lash: “inqirozda boshqacha, tinch paytda boshqacha”.

IELTS rasmiy tavsifi bo‘yicha Part 3 4–5 daqiqa davom etadi va Part 2 mavzusini mavhumroq darajada davom ettiradi. Leadership savollari odatda “Describe a leader” yoki siz hurmat qiladigan inson kartochkasidan keyin keladi. Quyidagi 8 savol mashq uchun yozilgan; band 6 va band 7+ belgilari tahririyatning taxmini.

Taqqoslash savollari

1. What is the difference between a manager and a leader?

Band 6:

A manager controls the workers and gives them tasks. A leader is more inspiring. People follow a leader because they want, not because they must.

Band 7+:

I’d say a manager makes sure things get done, while a leader makes people want to do them. A manager organises schedules, budgets and deadlines, which is essential work. A leader gives the team a reason to care, for example by explaining why a project matters. The best people in charge do both. I’ve seen a shift supervisor in a small café who was brilliant at planning but never once thanked the staff, and people kept quitting.

Farq: controls the workers — ruscha “контролировать” kalkasi; supervises yoki manages tabiiyroq. Kuchli javob ikkisini qarama-qarshi qo‘ymay, birlashtiradi.

2. How is leadership in a family business different from leadership in a large company?

Band 6:

In a family business the father is the boss. Everybody listens to him. In a big company there are many managers and rules.

Band 7+:

In a family business, authority often comes from age and position in the family rather than skill. In a lot of small shops at Uzbek bazaars, the oldest relative makes the final decisions, even if a younger family member understands online sales much better. In a large company, leadership is usually tied to a job title and results, so it’s more formal but also more open to newcomers. Each has strengths: family businesses can decide quickly, but they often struggle to adapt.

Farq: birinchi javob tasvirlaydi, ikkinchisi farqning manbasini (authority comes from…) tushuntiradi va ikkala tomonning kuchini tan oladi.

Bashorat savollari

3. Will leaders in the future need different skills from leaders today?

Band 6:

Yes, they will need to know technology and AI. Also they must speak English and other languages.

Band 7+:

Some skills will stay the same, like making decisions under pressure and being trusted. What’s likely to change is the setting. More teams will work remotely, across different cities or even countries, so leaders will need to build trust without meeting people face to face. That takes clear writing, patience and a lot of listening. Technical knowledge helps, but I think emotional skills will matter even more when routine tasks are automated.

Farq: kuchli javob nima o‘zgarmasligini ham aytadi va yangi ko‘nikmani sababi bilan bog‘laydi (remote teams → trust without meeting).

4. Do you think more women will take leadership roles in the future?

Band 6:

Yes, I think so. Now many women study at university and work. So in the future there will be more women leaders.

Band 7+:

I think so, and in some areas it’s already visible. More women are running their own businesses, from bakeries to online clothing shops, and many of them started from home. Whether this reaches senior positions in big organisations depends on practical things like childcare and flexible hours, because in many families women still carry most of the housework. If those change, I’d expect the shift to speed up.

Farq: statistika o‘ylab topilmagan; o‘rniga kuzatish va shart (depends on childcare…) bor.

Baholash savollari

5. Are people born leaders, or can leadership be taught?

Band 6:

I think both. Some people are born leaders because they are confident. But other people can also learn leadership in courses.

Band 7+:

I think personality gives some people a head start, but most leadership is learned through practice. Confidence and a loud voice might get you noticed, yet the skills that actually matter, like delegating fairly or giving criticism without hurting people, only come from experience and mistakes. That’s why I don’t think a two-day course makes anyone a leader; being responsible for a real project, even organising a school event, teaches far more.

Farq: I think both — boshlang‘ich pozitsiya sifatida zaif. Kuchli javob qaysi qism tug‘ma, qaysi qism o‘rganilishini ajratadi.

6. Should young people be given leadership roles at school?

Band 6:

Yes, because it is good practice. For example, the class monitor helps the teacher and learns responsibility.

Band 7+:

Yes, as long as the roles are real rather than symbolic. Being a class monitor who only collects homework doesn’t teach much. But if students are allowed to organise a charity fair or lead a hashar to clean the school yard, they have to plan, persuade classmates and deal with problems. The key is rotating these roles, so it isn’t always the same confident students who get the chance.

Farq: ikkinchi javob shart qo‘yadi (real rather than symbolic) va adolat masalasini ko‘taradi.

Sabab-oqibat savollari

7. Why do some people avoid leadership positions?

Band 6:

Because it is a big responsibility. If something goes wrong, the leader is guilty. Some people are shy.

Band 7+:

Mainly because the costs are visible and the rewards often aren’t. A team leader is the first person blamed when a deadline is missed, yet the extra pay can be small. In a culture where criticising older colleagues is uncomfortable, a young person promoted over them may feel stuck in the middle. And some people simply enjoy doing the work itself, like coding or teaching, more than managing others, which is a perfectly good reason.

Farq: is guilty o‘rniga gets blamed tabiiyroq. Kuchli javob madaniy sababni ham qo‘shadi va “rahbar bo‘lmaslik ham normal” degan fikr bilan tugaydi.

8. What happens to a team when the leader is weak?

Band 6:

The team doesn’t work well. People are confused and they don’t know what to do. Maybe they quit.

Band 7+:

Usually one of two things. Either nobody takes decisions and work drifts, or the loudest person in the team fills the gap and starts leading unofficially, which can create resentment. Either way, good people tend to leave first, because they have other options. I saw this in a university project group: without a clear coordinator, three of us did everything while the others waited for instructions.

Farq: kuchli javob ikki ssenariyni ko‘rsatadi va qisqa shaxsiy misol bilan tasdiqlaydi.

Javobni uzaytirish: vaziyatga bog‘lang

Leadership savollariga “ha” yoki “yo‘q” deb javob berish qiyin, chunki to‘g‘ri javob ko‘pincha sharoitga bog‘liq. Buni zaiflik emas, kuch sifatida ishlating:

  1. Umumiy fikr: In general, I prefer leaders who listen before deciding.
  2. Vaziyat 1: In a calm period, that works well, because people feel involved.
  3. Vaziyat 2: In a crisis, though, like a fire drill or a server crash, someone just needs to give clear orders.
  4. Xulosa: So the best leaders know when to switch between the two.

Vaziyat turlari: jamoa hajmi (kichik/katta), vaqt (tinch/inqiroz), soha (maktab/sport/biznes). Ish joyidagi rahbarlar haqidagi savollar Part 3 work sahifasida ham uchraydi.
