"My school" matni odatda besh qismdan iborat: maktab qaysi va qayerda (I study at School No. 21 in Yunusabad), nechanchi sinfdasiz (I’m in the 7th grade), sinf xonasi qanday (There are 15 desks and a smart board), qaysi fanlar va qanday ustozlar (Our class teacher is strict but fair) va maktabning sizga yoqadigan va yoqmaydigan tomoni. Xonani tasvirlashda there is / there are, kundalik tartib uchun Present Simple ishlatiladi.

A1: My school
My school is School No. 21. It is in Yunusabad, in Tashkent. It is a big building with three floors. I am in the fifth grade. My classroom is on the second floor. It is bright and clean. There are twenty-eight students in my class. We have five or six lessons every day. My favourite subject is English. Our English teacher is Mrs Karimova. She is kind and funny, and she always helps us. I like my school. (80 so‘z)
Tarjimasi. Mening maktabim — 21-maktab. U Toshkentning Yunusobod tumanida. Bu uch qavatli katta bino. Men beshinchi sinfda o‘qiyman. Sinfimiz ikkinchi qavatda. U yorug‘ va toza. Sinfimizda yigirma sakkiz o‘quvchi bor. Har kuni besh-olti soat dars bo‘ladi. Sevimli fanim ingliz tili. Ingliz tili o‘qituvchimiz Karimova opa. U mehribon va quvnoq, bizga doim yordam beradi. Men maktabimni yaxshi ko‘raman.
E’tibor bering: maktab raqami School No. 21 yoki School 21 deb yoziladi, "21-sonli" tarjimasi shart emas. Ustozga murojaat: Mrs / Ms / Mr + familiya.

A2: My school in Andijan
I study at a state school in Andijan, and I am in the 8th grade. Our school has two shifts, and this year my class studies in the morning, from eight until one o’clock. My classroom is on the first floor. There are fifteen desks, a whiteboard, a smart board and a big map of Uzbekistan on the wall. Near the window there are some plants: our class teacher waters them every morning. We have six or seven lessons a day. I like maths and history, but I find chemistry difficult. Our class teacher, Dilnoza Rustamovna, teaches literature. She is strict but fair, and she always listens to us. During the long break my friends and I go to the canteen and buy somsa and tea. After lessons I sometimes stay for the chess club. (143 so‘z)
Tarjimasi. Men Andijondagi davlat maktabida o‘qiyman, 8-sinfdaman. Maktabimiz ikki smenada ishlaydi, bu yil sinfimiz ertalabki smenada, soat sakkizdan birgacha o‘qiydi. Sinf xonamiz birinchi qavatda. U yerda o‘n beshta parta, doska, elektron doska va devorda O‘zbekistonning katta xaritasi bor. Deraza yonida gullar turibdi: sinf rahbarimiz ularni har kuni ertalab sug‘oradi. Kuniga olti-yetti soat dars bo‘ladi. Matematika va tarixni yaxshi ko‘raman, lekin kimyo menga qiyin. Sinf rahbarimiz Dilnoza Rustamovna adabiyotdan dars beradi. U talabchan, lekin adolatli va bizni doim tinglaydi. Katta tanaffusda do‘stlarim bilan oshxonaga borib, somsa va choy olamiz. Darsdan keyin ba’zan shaxmat to‘garagida qolaman.
Nimasi A2: there are bilan xona tasviri, but bilan qarama-qarshilik, I find chemistry difficult kabi fikr bildirish va kundalik tartib. Xonani tasvirlash qoidasi there is / there are sahifasida batafsil.
B1: My school: harder than I expected, and better
Two years ago I passed the entrance exam to a specialised school for maths and IT, and I still remember how nervous I was on the first day. Everything felt different from my old school. The lessons last longer, the homework never seems to end, and our teachers expect us to think, not just to repeat the textbook.
The building itself is quite ordinary: long corridors, grey walls and a small courtyard where we play football at break. What makes the school special is the people. Our physics teacher, for example, starts every lesson with a question that seems impossible, and by the end of the lesson we have usually found the answer ourselves. My classmates are ambitious, so there is some competition, but we also help each other before exams.
Of course, the school is not perfect. We spend too many hours sitting at desks, and the gym is so small that PE lessons are sometimes cancelled. If I could change one thing, I would add more time for projects and sport. Still, I am glad I came here. This school has taught me that being tired after a lesson usually means that I have learned something. (211 so‘z)
Tarjimasi. Ikki yil oldin matematika va IT’ga ixtisoslashgan maktabning kirish imtihonidan o‘tdim va birinchi kun qanchalik hayajonlanganimni hali ham eslayman. Hammasi eski maktabimdan farq qilardi. Darslar uzunroq, uy vazifasi hech tugamaydigandek, ustozlarimiz esa darslikni takrorlashni emas, o‘ylashni kutadi.
Binoning o‘zi oddiy: uzun yo‘laklar, kulrang devorlar va tanaffusda futbol o‘ynaydigan kichik hovli. Maktabni alohida qiladigan narsa — odamlar. Masalan, fizika o‘qituvchimiz har darsni imkonsizdek tuyuladigan savol bilan boshlaydi, dars oxirida esa odatda javobni o‘zimiz topgan bo‘lamiz. Sinfdoshlarim maqsadli, shuning uchun biroz raqobat bor, lekin imtihonlardan oldin bir-birimizga yordam beramiz.
Albatta, maktab mukammal emas. Partada juda ko‘p soat o‘tiramiz, sport zali esa shunchalik kichkinaki, jismoniy tarbiya darslari ba’zan qoldiriladi. Bitta narsani o‘zgartira olsam, loyihalar va sport uchun ko‘proq vaqt qo‘shardim. Shunga qaramay, bu yerga kelganimdan xursandman. Bu maktab menga darsdan keyingi charchoq odatda nimanidir o‘rganganimni bildirishini o‘rgatdi.
Nimasi B1: o‘tmish va hozirni taqqoslash, what makes… is tuzilmasi, so… that, Second Conditional (If I could change one thing, I would…) va xulosa jumlasi.

Bir daqiqalik og‘zaki variant
Namuna (taxminan 1 daqiqa): Well, I go to a state school in Andijan, it’s quite close to my house, so I just walk there. It’s a pretty old building, but the classrooms are bright and we’ve got smart boards now. This year we’re in the morning shift, which I like, because I have the afternoon free. The best thing about my school is probably our class teacher. She’s strict, but she really cares about us. What I don’t like is that we have too many lessons in a row without a proper break. But overall, I’m happy there.
