I share my room with my younger sister, Mohinur. Our flat is on the fourth floor in Chilonzor, so we have a nice view of the trees. Above my bed there is a shelf with my English books and a photo of our family. My sister’s side is not as tidy as mine: there are always toys on the floor! I have lived in the same room since I was six, but it looks completely different now. The pink wallpaper and cartoon posters have gone. Last summer my father and I painted the walls light grey, and I replaced my old plastic desk with a simple wooden one. That desk is the heart of my room. It stands opposite the window, so I can see the apricot tree in our courtyard while I study. On the wall above it there is a small whiteboard where I write new English words.
My wardrobe is quite old; it belonged to my grandmother, and I would never throw it away. Honestly, the room is too small for all my things, and there is never enough space for books. OK, so my room is quite small, but I really like it. When you open the door, you can see my bed on the right and my desk on the left, next to the window. There’s a big shelf above the desk with all my books and some photos. What else… there’s a blue carpet on the floor, and my guitar is always in the corner. I spend most of my time at the desk, because I study there and sometimes play games. If I could change something, I’d get a bigger wardrobe, because there isn’t enough space for my clothes.
