| Uzbek kitchen is very tasty. | Uzbek cuisine is delicious. |
| I bought products. | I bought groceries. / I bought some food. |
| It’s very delicious. | It’s delicious! / It’s really good! |
| Is there you bread? | Do you have any bread? |
| I eat now. | I’m eating now. |
| Cutlets for dinner. | Meat patties for dinner. |
И русское «есть» работает в двух смыслах: «у меня есть» — have, «есть еду» — eat или have: We have lunch at one.
С продуктами часто нужны much и many: How much rice? How many onions?
A: Welcome! Please sit down. This is plov, our national dish.
B: It smells amazing. What’s in it?
A: Rice, lamb, yellow carrots and onions. We cook it in a kazan for about two hours.
B: Is it spicy?
A: Not at all. It’s a bit greasy, so we eat it with this salad. It’s tomatoes and onions.
B: Mmm, delicious. And what’s the bread called?
A: Non. It’s baked in a clay oven. Would you like some green tea?
B: Yes, please. I’m so full, this is very filling.
A: Then just tea. Dessert can wait!
