Murakkab grammatikaO‘zbekcha

Participle clauses: Having finished, Built in 1920 va xatolar

Participle clauses o‘zbekcha: -ing, V3 va having + V3 bilan qisqargan gaplar, ravishdosh bilan taqqoslash, dangling participle xatosi va 14 ta mashq javoblari.

Ravoqli ayvonlar bilan o‘ralgan, o‘rtasida hovuz va daraxtlar bor madrasa hovlisi: built around a courtyard

Participle clause — bog‘lovchi va ega tushirib qoldirilgan, sifatdosh bilan boshlanadigan qisqa ergash gap. Uchta shakli bor:

  • -ing (faol, bir vaqtda): Walking to the metro, I met my old teacher.
  • V3 / -ed (majhul): Built in the 15th century, the madrasa still attracts thousands of visitors.
  • Having + V3 (oldinroq tugagan ish): Having finished my homework, I went out.

Asosiy qoida bitta: participle clause ning egasi bosh gapning egasi bilan bir xil bo‘lishi shart. Bu qoida buzilsa, “dangling participle” degan xato chiqadi — u pastda alohida ko‘rib chiqilgan.

O‘zbek o‘quvchisi uchun yaxshi xabar

O‘zbek tilida bu tuzilma kundalik nutqning bir qismi. Ravishdosh va sifatdoshlar aynan shu ishni bajaradi:

O‘zbekchaInglizcha
Uyga kelib, ovqatlandim.Arriving home, I had dinner.
Darsni tugatgach, kutubxonaga bordim.Having finished the lesson, I went to the library.
XV asrda qurilgan madrasa hali ham ishlaydi. The madrasa built in the 15th century is still in use.
Derazada o‘tirgan qiz — singlim. The girl sitting by the window is my sister.
Charchaganim uchun erta yotdim.Feeling tired, I went to bed early.

Farq bitta: o‘zbekchada ravishdosh va bosh gapning egasi turlicha bo‘lishi mumkin (Yomg‘ir yog‘ib, ko‘chalar ho‘l bo‘ldi). Ingliz tilida oddiy participle clause da bu mumkin emas. Rus tilidagi деепричастие ham xuddi shunday qoidaga bo‘ysunadi, shuning uchun rus maktabida o‘qiganlar bu qoidani tezroq tushunadi.

Uchta shakl: qachon qaysi biri

ShaklMa’nosiTo‘liq gapParticiple clause
-ingfaol, bir vaqtda yoki sababBecause I didn’t know the way, I asked a policeman. Not knowing the way, I asked a policeman.
V3majhul (ish egaga nisbatan qilingan)The plov was cooked in a kazan, and it tasted amazing.Cooked in a kazan, the plov tasted amazing.
having + V3bosh gapdan oldin tugagan ishAfter I had saved enough money, I bought a car.Having saved enough money, I bought a car.
having been + V3oldin tugagan majhul ishBecause he had been warned, he left early.Having been warned, he left early.

Inkor shaklida not participle dan oldin keladi: Not having a car, we took a taxi (Having not emas — bu shakl ham uchraydi, lekin not having odatiy).

Majhul nisbat bilan bog‘liq tomoni haqida: passive voice. -ing va -ed sifatlar farqi (boring/bored) esa boshqa mavzu: bored va boring farqi.

Participle clause nimani bildiradi

Vaqt: Arriving at the airport, we went straight to check-in. (Aeroportga yetib kelgach…)

Sabab: Being the oldest child, Nodira helped her mother a lot. (Katta farzand bo‘lgani uchun…)

Natija: The river flooded, destroying several houses. (…natijada bir nechta uy vayron bo‘ldi.)

Shart: Used correctly, this medicine is completely safe. (To‘g‘ri ishlatilsa…)

Qo‘shimcha harakat: She sat on the balcony, drinking green tea. (…ko‘k choy icha-icha.)

Nisbiy ergash gapni qisqartirish

Participle ko‘pincha who/which/that li gapning o‘rnini egallaydi. Bu yozuvni ixchamroq qiladi:

  • The man who is sitting next to me → The man sitting next to me
  • A madrasa which was built in 1417 → A madrasa built in 1417
  • Students who want to apply for a grant → Students wanting to apply for a grant
  • The photos that were taken at the wedding → The photos taken at the wedding

Holat fe’llari bilan (know, belong, contain) ham ishlaydi: a box containing old letters. Nisbiy ergash gaplarning to‘liq qoidalari: relative clauses.

Decorated with blue and white tiles, the portal catches every visitor’s eye.
Decorated with blue and white tiles, the portal catches every visitor’s eye.

Dangling participle: eng xavfli xato

Agar participle clause ning “bajaruvchisi” bosh gapning egasi bo‘lmasa, gap mantiqsiz — ba’zan kulgili — bo‘lib qoladi.

Noto‘g‘riNima bo‘lib chiqdiTo‘g‘ri
Walking to the metro, it started to rain.yomg‘ir metroga yurib ketyaptiWalking to the metro, I got caught in the rain. / As I was walking to the metro, it started to rain.
Built in 1417, tourists love the madrasa.turistlar 1417-yilda qurilganBuilt in 1417, the madrasa is loved by tourists.
Having finished dinner, the dishes were washed.idishlar kechki ovqatni tugatganHaving finished dinner, we washed the dishes.
Being a rainy day, we stayed at home.biz yomg‘irli kunmizIt being a rainy day, we stayed at home. / As it was a rainy day, we stayed at home.
Looking out of the window, the mountains were beautiful.tog‘lar derazadan qarayaptiLooking out of the window, I saw the beautiful mountains.

Tekshirish usuli: participle clause dan keyingi birinchi ot kim/nima ekanini so‘rang. Having finished dinner, the dishes… — idishlar kechki ovqatni tugata olmaydi, demak gap xato.

Yuqoridagi It being a rainy day — “mustaqil” (absolute) konstruksiya, egasi alohida ko‘rsatilgan. U rasmiy va biroz eskicha eshitiladi; kundalik yozuvda As it was… qulayroq.

IELTS Writing da: Task 1 jarayon va xarita

Participle clauses IELTS Writing Task 1 dagi jarayon (process) va xarita savollarida ayniqsa tabiiy ishlaydi, chunki ular ketma-ket bosqichlarni bitta gapga jamlaydi.

Having been collected from local farms, the cotton is cleaned and dried. It is then spun into thread, producing large reels that are sent to the factory. Dyed in several colours, the fabric is finally cut and packed.

Xarita tasvirlashda: The old market, located in the north of the town, was replaced by a car park. Jarayon diagrammasi tuzilishi haqida to‘liq: IELTS process diagram.

IELTS baholash mezonlari murakkab tuzilmalarning xilma-xilligini va aniqligini birga baholaydi. Participle clause shu xilma-xillikka qo‘shiladi, lekin dangling xato bilan yozilgan gap aniqlikka zarar beradi. Shubha bo‘lsa, to‘liq ergash gap yozing — bu xavfsizroq. Namuna matn: Registon haqida

Standing in the centre of Samarkand, Registan Square is surrounded by three madrasas. Built in the 15th century, the Ulugh Beg Madrasa is the oldest of the three. Having walked around the square, most visitors climb the steps to look at the tiled domes more closely. Tired after a long day, we sat in a small café, watching the lights come on over the square.

Matnda to‘rt xil vazifa bor: joyni tasvirlash (Standing), majhul tarix (Built), oldin tugagan ish (Having walked) va holat (Tired), oxirida esa bir vaqtdagi harakat (watching).

Qisqargan gaplarni nutqqa olib chiqing

Participle clauses ko‘proq yozuvga xos, lekin hikoya qilganda ham tabiiy eshitiladi: Having missed the last bus, I had to walk home. BandMate ilovasida Bandi bilan sayohat yoki o‘tgan dam olish kuni haqida gaplashganda bitta-ikkita shunday gap qo‘shib ko‘ring; ilova grammatik xatolarni ko‘rsatadi. Bu mashq uchun fikr, rasmiy IELTS bahosi emas. Bugungi kichik vazifa: shahringizdagi bitta bino haqida Built in… bilan boshlanadigan gap yozing.
