Yozgi ta’til haqida ingliz tilida: qishloq, lager va dengiz

"My summer holidays" matni o‘tgan voqea haqida, shuning uchun asosiy zamon Past Simple: I went, we stayed, I swam, it was. Matn uch savolga javob beradi: qayerga va kim bilan bordingiz (I went to my grandparents’ village with my brother), nima qildingiz (We picked apricots and swam in the river) va eng yaxshi yoki kulgili lahza nima bo‘ldi (The best moment was…). Oxirida bitta his-tuyg‘u gapi yetarli: It was the best summer of my life.

Quyida uchta variant: qishloqdagi ta’til (A1), yozgi lager (A2) va birinchi marta dengizga borish (B1), tarjimasi bilan. Keyin fe’llar jadvali, shablon va mashq.

A1: Summer in the village

Last summer I went to my grandparents’ village in Surkhandarya. I stayed there for three weeks. The village was quiet and green. Every morning I got up early and helped my grandfather in the garden. We picked apricots and fed the sheep. In the afternoon it was very hot, so I swam in the river with my cousins. In the evening we ate melons and watched the stars. I didn’t use my phone much. A2: Two weeks at a summer camp

This summer my parents sent me to a children’s camp in the mountains near Tashkent. At first I didn’t want to go, because I didn’t know anybody there. But on the first evening I met two boys from Namangan, and we became good friends. Every day was busy. We got up at seven, did exercises and had breakfast in a big dining room. Then we played football, went hiking or swam in the pool. One day we climbed a small mountain, and I took amazing photos of the valley. The funniest moment was when our group got lost in the forest for an hour and our leader pretended it was part of the plan. On the last night there was a big campfire, and everybody sang songs. I was sad when it ended. I’m definitely going again next year. (148 so‘z)

B1: The first time I saw the sea

For most people in Uzbekistan, "the sea" means Charvak, which is actually a reservoir, or the photos of the Aral Sea that we see at school. So when my parents announced in May that we were going to spend ten days in Antalya, Turkey, I could hardly believe it. I had never been on a plane, and I had never seen a real sea.

The flight was shorter than I expected, but I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep at all. We arrived late at night, and I remember that the air was warm and wet, completely different from the dry heat at home. The next morning I ran down to the beach before breakfast. The water was so clear that I could see small fish around my feet, and it tasted salty, which surprised me more than it should have.

We spent most of the days swimming and walking in the old town, and one day we took a boat trip to some caves. My little sister got sunburnt on the second day because she refused to wear sun cream, so we had to be more careful after that. Looking back, it wasn’t the hotel or the food that I remember most. It was that first moment when I saw the sea stretching all the way to the horizon. (224 so‘z)

Kunlarning ko‘pini suzish va eski shahar bo‘ylab sayr bilan o‘tkazdik, bir kuni esa qayiqda g‘orlarga bordik. Singlim quyoshdan himoya kremini surtishdan bosh tortgani uchun ikkinchi kuniyoq quyoshda kuyib qoldi, shundan keyin ehtiyotkorroq bo‘ldik. Hozir o‘ylasam, eng ko‘p esimda qolgani mehmonxona ham, taom ham emas. U dengiz ufqqacha cho‘zilib yotganini birinchi ko‘rgan lahza edi.

Nimasi B1: Past Perfect (I had never been on a plane), so… that, could hardly believe, oldingi va keyingi holatni taqqoslash va It wasn’t… that I remember most. It was… bilan urg‘uli xulosa.

Hech qayerga bormagan bo‘lsangiz, bu ham matn uchun mavzu: I stayed in the city, but I learned to ride a bike / I worked at my uncle’s shop. O‘qituvchi joyni emas, gaplaringizni baholaydi.

Bir daqiqalik og‘zaki variant

Namuna (taxminan 1 daqiqa): This summer I spent most of my time at my grandparents’ place in the village. It’s in Surkhandarya, so it was incredibly hot, but I loved it. I got up early, helped my grandfather with the apricots, and in the afternoon we all went to the river to swim. The best part was the evenings, honestly. We sat outside, ate melons and just talked for hours. I hardly used my phone, which was strange at first, but actually really nice. I think I’d like to go back next year.
